I had a great experience at this hotel. Great atmosphere, lots of facilities for guests, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room itself was quite sizable, bed was comfortable, view was very nice. It was also very clean. The location was incredible, right outside of the Rosenthaler Platz U-Bahn station which made it easy to get anywhere in the city quickly. The next time I find myself in Berlin I will absolutely book with them again.
My only complaint is that the bathroom was quite dimly lit.

The room is spacious. The hotel is quite clean. The staff and service level is high. The hotel has a restaurant / bar on the ground floor. The streets nearby have a lot of restaurants and transportation choices. Great Berlin experience overall.
Providing good sleep is the number 1 job for a hotel, and this hotel fails at it. The rooms which face the street are very noisy due to the tram that passes in front of it. I am a heavy sleeper and I was waken up at night and early in the morning, multiple times with the passing of the tram. The hotel should make those rooms much cheaper than the rooms facing the courtyard or it should make some heavy investment on better acoustic isolation.

It was eclectic, but not pretentious. The bar/cafe is cozy and fun.
There is no air conditioning which I suspect would be a problem in the summer. Not for us, as we were there in October. However, opening the window exposed us to intermittent police sirens. I hope they consider AC in the future for quiet comfort. Despite that minor complaint, we slept like babies in the super comfortable bed.

The breakfasts were very good. The beds were fine but the duvet covers were much too heavy and hot for summer. They should be much lighter or a sheet provided under them to sleep under alone when it is hot. The staff was great- very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Breakfast was great and we loved having a la carte options. The bar was terrific, the staff were professional and friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The room was a bit small for two of us (I would upgrade to the slightly larger one next time), but it was spotless and well set up. It is a very convenient area of Berlin.
The room was a bit small for 2 people with one side up against the wall. There was no AC, but it was fine while we were there.

The location is fantastic. Plenty close to shopping, restaurants, museums, night life. The staff is the best! Arun & Max at the hotel bar/restaurant are fantastic, friendly, and gave great recommendations for other restaurants and entertainment. Fernanda at the hotel is super as well. The entire staff was great.
We found nothing that needed improvement. This is not a huge chain hotel with massive rooms... which we don't prefer. It's a boutique hotel in an old that is very nicely remodeled and decorated. Very cool space.
