Uncomfortable bed. Minimally sized room. No air circulation/climate control.
The first night we had a noisy, broken fan for cooling. Kept us awake.

The location was right by the u bahn n plenty of restaurants and shops around. But still quiet at night. The staff were great and so nice. The coffee n croissants in the morning were good . It was a great stay.

I loved how close it was to everything. The staff was also very accommodating.
The room we stayed in felt basic — no fridge, which is a little surprising, considering how much we paid for the room.

Wonderful
The room was basic but well appointed. Bathrooms were clean, but felt not great ventilation. Location was great, easy to walk to places i.e. supermarket, restaurants, train transportation. Breakfast was croissants & coffee. The coffee was awesome & so many choices. The staff were extremely polite and very will to help, always had a smile on their faces.
Bathroom ventilation wasn't great. Minimal English speaking channels on the TV.

This was my first stay at the Sorat but certainly wont be my last. This is a real Gem in Berlin's best locations. beautiful lobby and reception area. The staff polite, and super helpful. The room (classic room) even though looks like a room from the 80's was super comfortable, the bed, the pillows, and what impressed me was how clean the room was. Everything was super clean, smelled good.
The free coffee and croissants every morning is a 5* gesture from the hotel. The wifi was perfect.
Sorat is a hotel that really cares about their guests. And you can see and feel it.
Maybe a small fridge in the room.

Very Good
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the croissants and coffee in the morning. The room was reasonable spacious and comfortable. It's close to public transportation.
Some of the fixtures had a cheap feel, especially in the shower. The water would suddenly vary from warm to very hot, which was not good.

Wonderful
Great location with access to u-bahn and bus stops just close to the property. There’s also an Edeka grocery that closes at 12am nearby. The rooms are also clean and modern with lots of space, even for 3 people! Free croissants and hot drinks are a plus
Bathroom had a bit of smell (unsure if ventilation issue) and I couldn’t make the smart tv connect to the WiFi. Other than that all was good.

It was a good experience. The area is well connected, and the hotel is tranquil, especially the rooms overlooking the inner courtyard. The building has an 80s look, which is part of Berlin's style, but it's good and comfortable for a weekend stay. The only thing that could be improved in the rooms is the addition of a mini fridge, which was advertised on Booking, and small trash bags, which I was given when I asked for them. There is also no air conditioning, which is common in many hotels in Berlin.

even breakfast was not provided by the hotel, a nice coffee and croissant was waiting in the morning to start the day with. very pleasand and nice jesture , thanks.
I was too hight in level 5, not 3 as innitally offered (room wirh carpetedfloor and nice armchairs..room at the 5 th floor was more...spartan lets say. And family with children next door screeaming some times in last days.

it is very close the public transport!
It was very hot days when we stayed there and eventhough we closed the curtins during the day the room was very hot and dry. Note that there is no airconditioning.

Wonderful
The hotel isn't fancy, but the room was comfortable and great for our short trip to Berlin. The desk worked well for my mobile office. The bathroom was clean and set up well to be easily usable. Free croissants and coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby each morning is a nice touch.
