Friendly reception staff. Communication before arriving was excellent and on the day of arrival they let me check in early as my room was available. Croissants and hot drinks were provided in the morning. As it was near Christmas, chocolates were left out in bowls around reception.
The hotel could get very warm and probably should be adjusted slightly.

Very quiet hotel. I was staying on the third floor, street side and had no noise at all to disturb sleep. The policy is to clean rooms and refresh towels every 3 days and that worked fine for me too. A good idea to help environmental footprint and keep running costs efficient. Great value room for a city centre hotel. Ideal location for the underground.
The mini breakfast and coffee to go is a nice touch but if you don't fancy a croissant, there is nothing else.

Location good. Train directly comes to 5 min away to hotel. U bahn station 3 min away. Kudamm is very close.

Complimentary breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Lounge area a bit small but did not detract from an excellent stay.

Location is near the transport network and the urban art museum (recommended) - it's not that central but a bit quieter and still plenty of resteraunts and so on around. Staff nice, and the room was very comfy - I think I'd pick this over the more central but less comfy options I was also in. Breakfast is coffee and a crossiant. There's a supermarket and insanely cheap Italian around though! Stayed in winter and was warm.
The location felt fine to me (a lone woman and I did come back late evenings) but there is a homeless guy sheltering a few doors up. He wasn't bothering anyone and berlin seems to have a lot of rough sleepers, but I mention it as other reviews have.

Brilliant staff, all of them.They are the reason I will stay there next time visiting Berlin. Proper coffee and croissant (both complimentary) in the morning make perfect start of the day. Location is excellent for access to public transport.
Rooms somewhat dated. Very clean, just dated. No safes, neither in rooms nor reception. Abandoned hotel next door spoils the location for some travellers.
