Location, comfortable bed . Perfect for a solo traveler.
Hallway carpets need to be cleaned or changed. Staff not overly friendly or particularly welcoming but they get their job done. Not an issue for me. It did get a little loud in the morning but again this had more to do with the guests than the management . If I return to Berlin I will probably book this hotel again.

Great stay at Scandic Berlin. The hotel has an unbeatable location close to major sights and public transport, making it easy to explore the city. Rooms are surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the lobby to the bathroom. For the price, the value is excellent — affordable rates without compromising comfort or quality. Highly recommended.
The only concern is the air conditioner was not properly working in our room.

The location was convenient and close to public transport. It was easy to reach different parts of Berlin from the hotel.
One morning, renovation work started on the floor above my room at around 10:00. I returned to the room in very early in the morning and had only slept for about four hours, so the noise affected my limited time in Berlin negatively. I believe this planned renovation should have been communicated in advance, or I should have been assigned a different room from the beginning to avoid the noise.

we have to park our car outside the hotel - in my opinion a BIG minus point! We try to make a reservation but they DONT reserve parking places at YOUR own hotel for your own guests .

Odd layout, level changes. My only other Scandic stay was in Helsinki in 2023 it was a 10/10 experience. I was hoping for better in Berlin, but it wasn’t bad.

Very good hotel, comfortable and clean. Pretty quiet too. There was a lot of space in the room. It was also convenient to do home office. There's a kettle, a fridge and some tea in the room. The reception is open 24/24. Location was good to take public transport (access to bus, U-bahn, S-bahn), very convenient to reach any neighborhood in Berlin.
The breakfast is quite expensive (more than 20€) so we didn't take it. There are a few cafés/restaurants around the hotel but they were not that good.

Great value for many in a fantastic location! Also the breakfast is exceptional, many vegan options, including freshly made waffles you can make yourself! that really was the highlight. It´s very close to the metro, zoo and a huge shopping street so you can get whatever you need. I also highly appreciate that I was able to get a late check out for free till 1pm as I was racing the half marathon and it was great to be able to shower afterwards.
You can hear some water noise from the neighbors and the ventilation in the bathroom is not great so if you leave the door closed and come back to the room it really smells bad.

The breakfasts are amazing, waffle iron and juicer, organic high quality ingredient, a giant smorgasbord of everything you’d want for breakfast and more Staff was also helpful.
