The receptionist that helped me most of the time really made my stay, If I don’t remember wrong his name was Eduardo. He was always very smiley and kind. Other than that my room was pretty clean, bed was very comfortable, air conditioning worked good and location is really good. I really enjoyed my stay in Berlin and would totally recommend Hotel Neuer Fritz to anyone who is looking for budget friendly accommodation.

Great check-in experience. Staff is super friendly and everything went smooth. Location is also excellentm just a few steps from S Friedrichstrasse. Was only there for one night but would come again.

This property was truly outstanding. Staff was super helpful and nice, I got an upgrade for a super nice suite. Also other requests (e.g. printing some documents, getting some advice) were immediately fulfilled. The room was not just clean and very spacy, it also had a perfect view on the river Spree, including a balcony to sit outside in the sun…

The location was in a good central area to access many areas of interest around Berlin.
The cleanliness and lack of attention to detail is disappointing. It is a MAZE to try and get to your room and I got lost!

The location is central to a very active area of central city. Public transportation is abundant (2-3 blocks from the subway). Staff was excellent. Nice having an Italian restaurant as part of the hotel.
The hotel needs to provide wash clothes. Scrubbing with body wash sometimes simply isn't enough.

Location is good
It's not really a hotel. It's a lobby with a separate floor of rooms that's disconnected from the lobby and only accessible through a random (and smelly) staircase. The room had a dirty and worn plastic 'carpet', didn't have long enough curtains to block out any of the bright street lights. Sadly, when I had trouble finding my room, i found out that all listed hotel phone numbers (including hotel emergency / night lines) weren't answering. So you're on your own. Check in is with a machine outside the hotel.
