Overlooking the River Spree, this boutique hotel on Berlin’s famous Friedrichstrasse Shopping Street offers elegant rooms and excellent transport connections. Free WiFi is provided in all areas. Old 80-90 building, Renovated
The room we stayed in was a 4-bed-suite. Not really suitable for 4 adults, as the sleeping couch was not comfortable at all

Location is good
It's not really a hotel. It's a lobby with a separate floor of rooms that's disconnected from the lobby and only accessible through a random (and smelly) staircase. The room had a dirty and worn plastic 'carpet', didn't have long enough curtains to block out any of the bright street lights. Sadly, when I had trouble finding my room, i found out that all listed hotel phone numbers (including hotel emergency / night lines) weren't answering. So you're on your own. Check in is with a machine outside the hotel.

Great location and walking distance to restaurants, bars and attractions
We booked a room for 3 people and the third bed was not comfortable. It was a sofa bed. Breakfast was too expensive for what was offered. Not much choice. Room was cleaned daily but very rushed. Showers are open space and baths too. Not really ideal so it should be mentioned in the description

Fantastic location. 15 mins walk to the Brandenberg gate. 5 mins to trains uban. Lots of interesting cafes and places of entertainment close by. Breakfast cafe and food was excellent.
Its is a bit dark and needs and elevator.

The breakfast was excellent. The open kitchen in the restaurant features a smiling young girl who prepares your omelette fresh and serves it in a very tasty way. It was wonderful..
I stayed one night at Hotel Neuer Fritz. After check-in, I found my assigned room used, uncleaned, and facing a dark inner courtyard. When I complained, the staff apologized and upgraded me to a beautiful corner suite overlooking Friedrichstrasse and the Weidendammer Brücke — probably the best room in the hotel. However, I’d like to address Booking.com: Without your platform, many hotels wouldn’t reach their guests, yet Booking.com users are too often given the darkest and least desirable rooms. We pay full price and deserve the same quality as anyone else. Please ensure fair treatment for all your customers.
