The location is really good. Сlose to U-Bahn and easy to get around the city. The room itself was spacious enough for a family of three.
The family room design is something to be aware of: no door to the bathroom, fully transparent shower. Fine for a couple maybe. But with a young child it was awkward every single time.
Housekeeping was a real letdown. We hung the "make up my room" sign at 9:15 AM and left for the day. Came back at 14:30 and the room was untouched. We stopped by reception around 16:30 to remind them and that's when we were told the housekeeping staff had already left for the day. Well, at least they offered to replace the towels as a consolation but that's not really the point.
Another day we put all 6 towels on the floor to have them replaced. Came back to find only 3 bath towels. No hand towels. Even though we left a tip for the cleaner that day.
One night we came back late, bought some snacks from the lobby and sat down on the couches. Our 6 year old fell asleep on my wife's lap. A staff member came over and told us that sleeping in the lobby is not allowed. To be fair, I get it as that's probably their policy. But it left a bit of an odd feeling.
Room amenities were minimal. Literally just soap and shampoo. No slippers, no nothing. We got slippers eventually but only after asking at reception. Coffee and tea weren't restocked automatically either. Not that I drink instant coffee anyway, but you shouldn't have to go and ask for it every time. It just feels like you're begging for things that should already be there. Not what you'd expect at this price point.

Maid took the second key we had out of the slot, I assume to save energy but it was hot so we wanted the air con on. Shouldn’t have taken our room key though!!

I thought the bed was comfortable and there was an excellent view from the window as we were on the 10th floor. Breakfast was exceptional with a great choice of hot and cold foods.
The bedroom was very stark and basic, with an open bathroom which I did not like. The hotel lobby was also cold and clinical and the hotel seemed soulless.

Room was super comfortable - fantastic view of Berlin from 13th floor - lots of choice for breakfast and everything was delicious - good location - staff very friendly. This is the second time I've stayed and I'd happily go back.

I stayed at this hotal for 3 nights. Before arraival I informed hotel about early arraival, because of train arraival at Berlin station just after 12 (but check in starts at 15:00.) When I arraived just after 13:00 - my room was already ready and I could comfortably check in just in a few minutes time! Super comfy and fast!!! My second question/request to stay at higher level- so that I could have a nicer view (as hotel has 16 floors) and I got loceted at 11th floor- which gave me a beautiful view! My third and most important request was to have at least a double bed (as the room I booked was a large room- not a single room, but I don’t remember exact name of room type) as sleeping for 3 nights in a single bed would be very uncomfortable for me… I did not just get a double bed, but a KING size bed, which was ABSOLUTELY FABOULUS AND COMFORTABLE. Bed, quality of blankets and pillows where more than soft!!! Another important factor when you stay at hotel for more then 1 night is House Keeping and the team here did an exceptionally perfect job!!! So kind and whenever I needed extra pillovs (as I like to sleep with lots of pillows) - whatever I asked, was done and given to me in less then 5 mins!!! I have stayed in LOTS of hotels in my life- but here- HOUSE KEEPING- has exceptionally HIGH STANDARTS and super kind attitide! Not sure how they do everything so efficently and fast- but sometimes I left just for a shop and once returned- room was refreshed and supplied with fresh towels, etc…. A big thank you to all housekeeping staff!!!
Also worth mentioning is that the days I stayed in here- temperature in Berlin was around 26,27 degrees and room has a very good air conditioning and a fridge where you can cool down your drinks. Breakfast was super delicious with a very high choice of food, also restaurant food was delicious where I ordered a few times Asparagus menu!
I would NOT SAY THAT I DIDN’T like it- it’s ONLY MY PERSONAL OPINION - that for me breakfast from 6:30-10:00 is a bit too early to start and finish. I would like it to be at least till 11:00 - but once again- it’s not something I didn’t like- it’s only my personal preference.

What we liked:
- location, convenient to the metro and walking distance to the city center and the zoo
- friendly staff, especially the Asian-looking receptionist, and thank you again for trying to help.
- good, tasty breakfast with a good variety of dishes
What we didn't like:
- there's no way to open the window in the room for fresh air
- the room is VERY dusty (check photo), and the air conditioner just kicks it up and swirls it around
- the bathroom doesn't close, so you can see people showering from the room
- we found some bugs in the bed, brought this to the manager's attention, and they upgraded us to a new two-bedroom room, which was nice. However, in the room we got, we couldn't turn off the air conditioner in the bedroom, which was on full blast. Although the receptionist tried to help, she ultimately offered to upgrade our room again, but we declined, as moving again was too much, so we ended up sleeping in the living room.
