- the hotel's location was amazing, very close to KaDeWe, Ku'damm and Wittenbergplatz U-Bahn station
- the views from the hotel quite impressive, even from bathroom which had a window
- modern and comfortable room, spacious and nice design
- great bathroom with a large shower and a floor heating was an additional luxury
- well-equipped rooms with things like two hairdryers, shaving mirror, possibility to take unlimited tea or coffee from reception to the room, etc
- very clean with rooms tidied up thoroughly every day
- despite its size, the hotel was quiet
- large breakfast area with nice and attentive staff helping to place us at a table when the room got very busy
- wide range of choice for breakfast, very tasty and everyone could find something for themselves
- parking is a big plus and it's possibly the best hotel for those arriving by car in the whole Berlin - not only is the parking free but also offers lots of space and can be accessed directly from the hotel; yes, it's quite a process to reach it but everything is well signed so no issue with finding the way
- we could leave our car in the parking after checking out with the lady at the reception telling us we can leave the car even until the late evening
- small minus would be the TV - while it's not important during holidays, it's always nice to have some radio on while being in the room and the remote control was working very badly
- we had a room with two single beds; asked for a double but there was no such a room available - it's not a criticism as we knew it could happen but the experience would probably be even better with a large double bed so next time we'll make sure a double room is booked :)

The location is very good. A lot of restaurants and nice places. Just across the street is U-Bahn station, and the Zoo is just 15 min walking from the hotel. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful.
If you travel with family - be aware that there is no door in the bathroom. You will have separate toilet with the door, but no other doors and it's not comfortable, because when you shower - you are visible to other people who are with you in the room. And it was a huge surprise for us. Also the room was very dusty and you can feel that it wasn't very clean. You can't open windows for some fresh air, and the air in the room was very dry. Also outside there were scaffolding towers - so be prepared for this as well. When we arrived we had problems with Wi-Fi, but it was fixed in a couple hours.

Good size room, very clean and modern. The hotel is within walking distance from The Gate ( 30 min by foot).
The included parking is a huge advantaje, just be sure your car is not over 1.80 m.
Super hot water, shower cabin a little too transparent for my taste and in the middle of the room.
The room has a fridge and you can make tea and coffee.
The matress is great, the lbed sheets and towels high quality.
The windows don t open at all, it is not for claustrofobic people. That is why I gave a 9.
