Housekeeping was not well coordinated. One day no coffee, then empty shower body wash, then hand wash removed but not replaced until the next day

Location ,restaurants variety, location and lobby space that included places to work.
The stuff delayed us at check in and promise us things that made us change plans and were not true. The floor of the shower was not clean. The room service menu did not have water which was weird. I was at a 5 stars hotels- the service in this one did not felt like it. There was no attention to details at all. Felt very much like a 4 stars hotel.

It was pretty and well situated in the city. Overall it was a nice place to rest.
They were sooo disorganized there with no apparent communication between the housekeeping (a total mess- no consistency from day to day- there would constantly forget to empty garbage cans and refill towels, the body wash was empty and when we asked for more we were given the large container instead of them taking a moment to replace the canister inside the shower), the bar area (I was called and woken up after 11:30pm to come down in my slippers to pay a bill that I had a credit card on file for since we were staying there- ridiculous- I had to tell them to look it up), we were actually put into a room that hadn’t been cleaned when we first got there and on our second to last day we had someone come by with a welcome platter that we had never received but it wasn’t for us, it was for a different guest. No one seemed aware of our presence whatsoever. There were no greetings, no smiles, no sense that they cared about us their guests, at all. We had paid for 2 different rooms for 4 nights each which is not cheap and for a 4 star place, our experience was a 1 star hotel. It is a physically beautiful hotel but with no charm— totally void of personal touch and disorganized - with no quality control and no one to even complain to. It’s like they wanted nothing to do with their guests, besides checking them in at the desk. Then you were on your own and not taken care of.

The best is the location and the view. Some rooms have amazing views of the cathedral. The bar and breakfast are also nice.
We lost the present my sister got for her birthday which went missing from the room when we went out. It was either thrown out or stolen. At first report staff didn’t do anything. Second time the other person actually did something. Tried to Look for it and communicated. But eventually they found nothing and there was no compensation.

Nice facility with a great location making travel to various parts of Berlin easy to see the major attractions.
They had a nice area for drinks and snacks but no great restaurant in the hotel.

Breakfast for our 2 family guests very expensive at 39 euro Bathroom extractor fan not working We had mailed in advance requesting a twin room and had had a response-but reception not aware of it and none available on arrival though offered subsequently.

Nice and clean
The receptionist hardly speak english. We asked for an invoice to be prepared so we can pick it up anytime during our stay that she did not manage. We asked for a separate bed room and she gave us a queen bed..
