Wonderful
Very chic property, excellently located, with wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling windows, beautiful looking restobar with great food and cocktails.
1. Coffee was not great. Could use some improvement.
2. The room wasn’t cleaned properly. Previous guest had spilled something sticky on the floor that wasn’t cleaned. Also the room had not been vacuumed before I was given it

The room was comfortable and adequate, though I would not categorize it as luxurious or exceptional in any way other than the paid-for cathedral view with balcony. Pool and Saunas were clean and added a nice touch. Most of the staff was attentive and very friendly and engaging. The breakfast was quite good and had nice selection to choose from. I probably had the best scrambled eggs of any hotel I've ever been at. The atrium bar area was beautiful and service was very accommodating. Each of the bartenders and wait staff were friendly and engaging. The fish sandwich and German meatballs were great!
The location was excellent.
No face cloths provided in bathroom. Had to use long hand towels which was irritating. Fine hotels in Europe always provide face cloths. This one did not. For the price-point paid, I expected better. Minibar fridge was empty and warm. Had to turn it on to keep medications cold. The lobby entrance was piled with suitcases stacked like firewood upon our arrival which made it seem that we arrived at a big, busy city hotel that was not going to be personal in scale or scope.

Nice looking property that’s located in a great area.
Terrible bathroom design. Water gets all over due to how the shower glass is designed. Bath tub is too slippery and a fall risk. Room lacks functionality and is too dark.

Fantastic location – 10/10. We had a lovely room with an amazing view, and the staff at check-in were very welcoming.
We had dinner in the restaurant and both the food and service were really good. We also had lunch in the atrium and the salmon was lovely. Staff throughout the hotel were very nice.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay and the location is absolutely amazing. I would definitely stay again.
There were just a few small things in the room that could do with a bit more attention. The lid on the bathroom bin was broken, and the small wall mirror was missing a screw and was hanging on just one. Also, when we arrived, the previous guest’s welcome amenities were still in the room – fruit, chocolate and even their welcome card.
The funny part was the next day! We had a late check-out and when we came back to the room in the afternoon, there were new welcome amenities left for another guest, again with someone else’s welcome card So I think there was just a little mix-up with the room.

The view is stunning, the room is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the staffs are professional.
The housekeeping service is quite slow.

Paid for a canal side, view of cathedral with a balcony. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff went above and beyond to make a great experience, especially “Dawid “. He was the most pleasant, courteous and thoughtfully put together a plate of breakfast for me, in room, when I didn’t feel good one morning!
My king bed was 2 twins put together with an uncomfortable seem running down middle.
Cleaning staff was terrible, inconsistent. Had to request vacuuming all the dust bunnies around room. Coffee bar sporadically replaced. Towels were not replaced, had to call front desk several times. Even skipped over cleaning my room as I found out returning back at 8pm. Not an easy fix as we called front desk several times and waited forever. Some bathroom towels had stains and rips. Paid a lot of $$$$ for balcony and could not enjoy coffee out there in morning waiting for services to bring some coffee pods! And lastly, upgrades to the gym space is needed. Too small an area in weight room. People were waiting and/or walking away bc only 2-3 can work out in that space. Of note: no compensation given. Front desk gave us a business card telling us we had have to email management. That’s a new one. I felt very put off and no care given to attention.
