Loved the location - very good transport connections. Excellent a/c during a bad heatwave. It was 41°C outside and beautifully cool inside. The hotel was an oasis to us.

The hotel was stunning with really friendly staff. Our room was beautiful We ate in the restaurant the first evening that we were there and the food was exceptional.The price of the hotel was really good value compared to hotels in London. The complementary water was a nice addition.
Please note these are mostly due to personal preferences. The pillows were too soft for us and although there was air conditioning we found the room too warm at night.. Milk and sugar are rationed, we did ask for more but unfortunately it didn't arrive.

-The location is great, you can see the cathedral from the room which is quite a stunning view.
-The food at the restaurant was subpar, bland and tasteless. -The breakfast buffet lacked options, there were all the same types of food every day, no variety e.g only one type of sausages, 2-3 pastries and only 2 egg options. Very bland and boring food. - I found the reception staff to be quite rude and unprofessional. For a 5-star hotel, the reception staff lacked basic manners, professionalism and frankly they couldn’t even understand basic English. I would like to mention two people specifically: the man with black hair and glasses, and the blonde woman at reception. These 2 were the worst of the bunch. Highly untrained and unprofessional. It feels like they rely too much on their great location and don’t put the same effort into the other aspects of the hotel. The overall experience just didn’t live up to what you’d expect from a 5-star property.

Outstanding location. Great rooms. Great bathrooms. Great comfort. Great ambience. Great bar. Great pool. Great wifi. Great parking. Great staff. Simply a great choice (and still my favourite in Berlin). This was my first visit after the renovation in 2023 and 2024. They did a great job.
Very hard to answer that question. I can't really think of anything. Let's see. What can I say? Wait a minute. I had to call a technician for the bathtub. He was very nice and arrived in a couple of minutes.

Location, view, friendly stuff, good facilities, you will find everything you need in room, great bar and restaurant in the lobby. A lot of sightseeing just 5 min walk away. Metro station in 2 min walk. A lot of stores around.
Make sure you have a room with street view, inner courtyard rooms are not as comfortable.
