It’s at a great location, easy to go on any transport and next to many landmarks. The breakfast is great!! Good quality food.
The first day was one of hot day in the end of May. The AC in the room wasn’t working properly. After a while, someone came up to exchange a part inside of AC unit. However it’s still very warm. They offer a little fan, it doesn’t work well. Luckily we brought a small hand fan, it’s strong than then fan they offer. We fully closed curtain in the following two days, still very hot. Only wait until evening, open the balcony door, cooler outside air coming in to room to cool the room down. It’s a shame, we had a beautiful view of Cathedral and the river but we have to close curtains all the time. Also the AC air vent was very dusty, we mentioned to them but never be cleaned up during our stay

Service was great! They made the birthday celebration extra special by providing a cake in the room! Location was great - very convenient!!
We asked front desk for dinner recommendations, and the recommendations were for very touristic places. Would have liked to have more local knowledge.

Along side the canal and a good variety of restaurants close by, the bar area/restaurant was a nice atmosphere
Breakfast food was cold in the morning as the hot food didn’t appeared to be kept warm, housekeeping were not as attentive as previous hotels we have stayed in

The hotel itself looks beautiful and certainly has the appearance of a five-star property. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and the mattresses were excellent. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, offering a wide variety of high-quality options.
There was a persistent sewage smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay. We reported this to the front desk multiple times, but the problem was never resolved, and we received no follow-up or update regarding the issue. In addition, housekeeping forgot to provide small towels in our room. After asking the front desk three separate times, the towels were finally delivered. Airconditioning wasn't working properly and it was warm in de room while the airconditioning was on maximum cooling The hotel bar is attractive and pleasant, but the prices are exceptionally high. For example, a glass of Riesling cost around €9, which is roughly the same price as an entire bottle purchased online.

I booked twin room but got double room, even I have already texted to the hotel immediately when I booked. I contacted reception staff they said they were fully occupied and cannot provide the beds but when I insisted they can arrange. The manager or staff in charge acted irritating and walked away at the begging so rude. Understand that this request is subject to availability but they should at least really try. Manner should also be improved. If you have special request, do not risk staying there.
