Breakfast was one of the best I have had when traveling, in a very elegant space. The staff are so helpful, helping with my distant German -- and of course they speak excellent English. The hotel has a fascinating history. When booking, I was doubtful about the location, as it seemed far from sights. However, public transportation works so well, whether trains from Grunewald station (a sweet little station a pleasant 20 min walk away), or via busses to nearby stations, including Grunewald. The hotel is in a delightful upscale leafy suburb and worth the travel time. The pool in the old cellar/air raid shelter is very nice, as is the sauna.
Dinner is pricy. The cheapest main course was 37 euro, so if you are on a budget, best to east before you return to Grunewald, as there aren't many inexpensive options once you return.

Overall an amazing stay, much to the friendly staff and above all the concierge, Levon, was amazing and made us feel more than welcome. A true profesional. The breakfast was great. The area is sophisticated and nice if you are looking for quiet place to stay in Berlin, I really recommend it.
The hotel is a bit worn down in some areas, especially the garden area, but over all extremely beautiful location with tons of history. Build and outside pool area and you will be fully booked for ever and ever.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation. It is, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in Berlin and possibly anywhere in the world. The attention to detail, the ambiance, and the level of service were simply unmatched. One of the true highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by Levon, a concierge member who deserves special recognition. Levon went above and beyond in every way imaginable; His warmth, professionalism and kindness is truly unforgettable. The room was stunning: luxurious yet comfortable, with tasteful decor, a heavenly bed, and floor to ceiling windows that offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. The spa facilities were world class. If you’re looking for a flawless blend of elegance, comfort, and personalized service, look no further. This hotel and especially Levon set a new gold standard. We’re already planning our return.

Room was very beatiful, staff very friendly
No coffee maker in the room. I haven't had a room without a coffee maker for ages, and it surprised me. I thought this is pretty much standard these days. I had to walk all the way to the breakfast room to get a coffee (since we were in the annex this was quite a distance) and had to pay 4 Euro for a mediocre coffee. We did not want to have breakfast, since we had to leave early.

Everything was incredible. Amazing old mansion turned into a hotel.
The only thing was the shower was a little small and did not have great water pressure. A very small thing considering how great the hotel is.

A beautiful old mansion, gorgeous paintings, a pleasant living room where you can have a cup of coffee, free private parking, polite staff, a spa center with a swimming pool and a sauna. At our request, an extra bed was installed free of charge. The room has a small free minibar with juices and water.
The parking lot is very small, if you leave during the day, then in the evening there is no free space and you have to park on the nearest streets. A bit far from the center and attractions. The water in the pool is not heated. Breakfast is very weak for such a price. There is no kettle in the room, although they brought one at our request.
