Beautiful house with stunning ceilings and historic character, very quiet location near Grunewald, nice pool
Communication beforehand a bit difficult and not very client friendly, decor in rooms a question of taste and a bit stuck in the 1990s, breakfast far too expensive for what’s on offer, also added fee for a dog with € 30 per day on the high side. Dreaded rubberized sheet n mattress.

I really liked the cleanliness of the room and how comfortable the bed was. The breakfast was fresh and varied, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also very convenient and close to public transport.
The room could have been a bit better soundproofed, as some noise could be heard from outside.

It is a beautiful a beautiful property in a beautiful, peaceful area of Berlin. The breakfast was very good, and I highly recommend including it with your booking. The rooms are spacious and beautifully done. Each room has a different look, feel, and color scheme. I had an unfortunate incident with a rude front desk staff person. I understand that things happen and people have off days, and what I like is that the matter was beautifully and graciously remedied by the hotel's general manager. The manager handled attentively and quickly it in a way that let me know that the behavior of the staff person was not reflective of the hotel's attitude toward guests. Overall, the staff was friendly, kind, informative, and very helpful. I will return, and I will bring my family.
The initials of the designer who is responsible for the look of the room interiors features prominently in the rooms. His initials are everywhere...even stitched on the towles, framed on the wallks, and etched in the glass of the shower door...it actually screams and feels a bit overdone.

It was my mom's birthday, and everything was perfect, couldn't have been better. Our room was ready upon arrival; we shared two rooms; it was absolutely gorgeous, and we were more than happy. They brought champagne to our room right away, and we congratulated Mom. It was absolutely amazing. Then we sat at the bar; the cocktails were amazing, and we ordered room service. There was a wide selection for me, and everything was prepared and delivered very quickly. The food was fantastic, and they fulfilled all our wishes. The breakfast was simply magnificent; for the first time, I was able to make a Bloody Mary for breakfast; it was a surprise. I travel a lot and stay in 5+ hotels, but you rarely get such exceptional service, especially in Germany. We were then allowed to use the spa area until the evening; the pool is amazing. The hotel staff is very customer-oriented. We will definitely be back
