The people were friendly, both staff and guests. It’s a small place and easy to get to know people. Two toilets and two showers plus three modern sinks for 10 guests works out well. The location is close to a major U-Bahn station and there are lots of restaurants and shops in the area.
Check in was a bit confusing. It’s listed as 9:30-1:00, but no one was at the place when I arrived. They were just across the street, though, so a guest let me know. There are roll down shutters on the windows and a guest wanted them down, which made the place swelter during my first night. Once they left, I was able to have a window open. Berlin has a lot of graffiti, but this part of Berlin has more. It’s everywhere and can be depressing.

Would recommend this place! Perfect location, nice quiet and as a solo-female traveller felt really safe. The staff was super chill and friendly, and alltogether very helpful. I stayed for a week and it really felt like a temporary little home. Also extending the stay was super easy and at least at this time of the year, there was a lot of space and I think only 1 night all the beds were full. The location is fantastic, in the heart of Neukölln. Also there is a outdoor market every tuesday and friday almosy right when you step out of the door beside the canal. Thank you, will be coming again!

The space is not staffed accept at the check in window of 930 to 1pm. I felt lucky to get in at a time when there was someone there and it was no issue that the beds were not ready. It's a small hostel pf 6 beds and 2 double rpoms so it was perfect as it felt spacious and it was definitely quiet. (except for a super brash guest who came from another planet and woke everyone up at 1am because she didn't have an adaptor to charge her phone and she had to keep the light on because she can't sleep in the dark. We graciously tolerated her drama). I had a pleasant read in the common space and the toilets and showers were adequate for my use. The bed reminded me of staying in tatami rooms in japan. Very comfortable. On Tuesdays and I think Fridays there is a open air market that has cooked food, trinkets, produce, coffee with a great vibe. I was lucky to stay on the right day and got myself some artisan cheese from heritage cows.

A lovely clean, minimalist but cosy little hostel in a great location in a lively neighbourhood.
Noise travels very easily so limited the feeling of privacy in the private rooms

Very peaceful hostel with a tidy dorm room. The location is superb, with a lovely street market on Tuesdays and Fridays nearby, together with U Bahn station 5 minutes walk away.

Very clean and cozy room. The hostel had a nice layout and there were sufficient toilets and bathrooms for all the guests so that you never had to wait. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, tea kettle, etc. that you need for a short stay. Great location near the U-Bahn in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The only downsides were a lack of soundproofing (could hear every noise from the bathroom downstairs, kitchen, and other guest rooms) and poor pillows.

The place was perfect for me as a solo female travel for 2 nights. The common area and bathroom are super clean, it feels like it’s being cleaned daily or even twice a day. Checkin was smooth, location is good, and the bike rent was the icing on the cake! For a dorm, its value is definitely worth it.
You have to be considerate to other people as it’s a shared place. Earbuds are highly recommended, in case someone is a snorer...

The girl who helped me with the Check In was very nice and helpful. The room, facilities, and location, were good value for money. I would stay there again if I travel to Berlin for a couple of days.
As feedback for improvement, I’d just say that the outlet by the bed near the window, down at the bottom, is a bit far, so I couldn’t use my phone while it was charging.

Great location and a large double room. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby as well as a close metro stop.
Only one pillow and a twin comforter which was odd on a full bed. But I was solo so it wasn’t an issue.

I liked the feel of the place and the very convenient location with good access to several metro lines. It's called 'minimal' but it had all the commodities I needed.
You do hear every step and squeak. Earplugs are recommended.

Very clean, toiletries offered, you get a whole bed area complete with clothing rack, cabinet with padlock, towels. Very responsive team.
Top bed issues: the ceiling is so low you have to almost crawl around, climb up and down with your suitcase and for everything you need. If you forget something up there- it's a workout. The beds on the lower levels have a much larger space so make sure you request this. No price difference. Wish I was offered this option. I asked to change but they said it wasn't possible. Also, moving around after an evening out, climbing up to get toiletries, crawling to get PJs, etc. in low light was a pain in the ass. Main shower room is unisex and has no room door so to get dressed I had to stay in my shower cubicle and juggle my dry clothes, jump out to see in the mirror if it was okay, if not I'd have to climb up the ladder to get to my clothes if I needed change my shirt. It got tiring really quickly for someone forgetful like me.
