I like that the staff spoke English and they were very professional and friendly
I didn't like that they don't have a 24-hour cleaning service. And that bottle of water wasn't free. And also that all the TV channels' languages were in German and you had to have a special code to the other wifi network to connect your phone or laptop to the TV.

It was a very nice and large room at an excellent price given the central location. It was quiet in and around the hotel and the beds were great so I could sleep very well - not a given in a big city. The staff were friendly as well. Definitely my best hotel stay in Berlin so far.
The shower was quite weak, which I'm not used to. I didn't try the breakfast as it seemed quite expensive, but that wasn't a problem as there are so many excellent breakfast options within just a few minutes walk. There is some refurbishment work going on, but I didn't mind that at all as long as the room is nice which it was.

Good breakfast. You can watch your pancakes being made. A great rarity: salmon on the buffet. There is also a large selection for vegans.
Standard internet at the level of the 00s. Paying for high-speed wifi? No, thank you.

Clean. Easy access to the underground system. Great reception staff who were always happy to give us directions. Housekeeping was excellent and polite. Room was spotless. No complaints at all.
Everything was great. Even though there is some refurbishment taking place in the reception area. It was still clean and welcoming .

Room was spacious and clean.
Entrance reception area being refurbished, nothing mentioned of this on booking. Atmosphere on entry to building was dusty.
No soft seating area in reception, no drinks available in reception which used to be free on my last visit.
Outside area ,untidy,road very noisy.
