Very central location, really incredible buffet breakfast, the room was fine, I think it’s Spanish hotel which I enjoyed. The fitness room wasn’t bad. There’s a sauna but I didn’t use it.
Mainly the poor staff communication. I checked in early but they didn’t tell me it would be 30 euros until I was checking out (they waived it). I decided to extend my stay by 2 nights but they didn’t tell me I’d have to change rooms. I was going out for the day and found out I’d have to go back up and pack everything. They said it would be an upgrade but my first room had a view of the river and my second room had a view of people working on computer in the office building across the street. On one day the water was off without notice from about 11am-3pm, which I later found out was due to renovations. They really need to improve in this area.

The stationary glass partition in the shower is ridiculously too short, making it way too easy to get a lot of water on the bathroom floor.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now, each occasion was above satisfactory; the location is bang on perfect; great value for money, good service, water pressure is great, WiFi above average for speed/connectivity, I love the beds. Breakfast is also a great experience, there is something about an "egg station" that makes you enjoy the experience a little bit more...sometimes you don't want a fried or boiled egg...a fresh omelette is great, and multiple coffee machines helps avoid lining up for the morning elixir. Berlin is a walking city, you just want to get out and explore, and having a comfortable hotel in the right spot, gives you a chance to see a lot of Berlin. I highly recommend this hotel.
Nothing to add, but more of awareness - booking.com says reservation required for hotel parking, but when you contact hotel they say no reservation required, parking is available if there is space. Ok, no big deal, but this simple message could be applied in the booking.com page. And yes - there is plenty of parking for hotel guests.
