Room was a very adequate size and the big bed was very comfortable indeed. There was always plenty of hot water in the bath/shower room. The only potential issue was the use of two individual duvets on the king size bed instead of one large duvet (not insurmountable problem). We don't generally watch tv so the fact that the tv did not work was not an issue for us. The breakfasts were, quite simply, outstanding. If you could not find sufficient foodstuffs to meet your individual tastes within the abundance of the provision on display, then you would have very specialised tastes indeed. I tried to sample all the different breads on offer over the four breakfasts I enjoyed there but I am not sure I managed to taste them all. Hot or cold, vegetable or meat based, dairy or vegan, cereals, milks, teas, coffees, it was quite a display. It is probably clear that I am big on breakfasts! The staff were incredibly helpful with any enquiry we made. The location is excellent, placing it within walking distance of so many of the 'must see' sights of Berlin. The swimming pool was used every morning for an early swim before breakfast, very enjoyable indeed.
We did not eat in the hotel restaurant as it seemed a bit expensive.

Breakfast was excellent, bespoke omelettes on request, gluten free options on request, fresh pancakes, waffles, croissants, cooked breakfast, everything you could want. Pool was available all day, great for kids, rooms were spacious and immaculate, bathrooms lovely, views great, and location ideal to walk the city and see the sights, with great restaurants nearby.
Hard to find anything to fault, the tiniest of quibbles would involve having to request additional pillows because the pillows are quite flimsy and never quite getting the temperature right in the room (the heating seemed always on, making the difference in temp between inside and outside quite noticeable), but nothing that would score this down from top marks.

Very well placed hotel (especially when running the half-marathon) and the rooms were a nice size with comfy beds. Great to have a mini fridge to use. The breakfast was fantastic. Great value overall.
The room was directly opposite the lifts so there was a bit of noise early/late.

We booked this hotel due to its central location. We were able to walk to the most of the touristic sights.
The hotel is outdated and needs some renovation. The furniture is old, rooms and hallways have a strange odor. The worst was the dust, the rooms are so dusty, even the linens and the towels. My husband struggled with red itchy eyes the moment he entered the room. We had to leave a day early due to this issue as it was impossible to stay/sleep in the room. The gym is very small, it's for max 2 people from the same party. The parking is right underground and costs 26€/night

Very nice breakfast and very kind staff. The Hotel room looked a little old, but everything works fine. Good location for an extended weekend in Berlin.
The bed itself was good, but the pillows were too soft for me personally. But I also understand that it can be hard to find pillows suitable for everyone’s preferences.
