Does not feel like hotel, it feels like an old apartment. There is no staff in case you need something, no privacy if you are 2 friends or more because the shower is transparent glass and has no door.

the whole process was digital and there's a basket of cards on the side. The croissants are very good. The location is really close to Alexanderplatz and there's a great italian restaurant near. the rooms seem nice.
there was cold water on one of the coldest days in Germany, they don't clean everyday and if you don't put on a card on the door they won't clean then as well. Eventhough we hung the card they said we didn't so they didn't clean. The sheet and the towels smelled weird, some of the staff were very misunderstading and couldn't care less about our complaints.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Room facilities are great, with a small fridge and kitchenette. Also appreciated that you could open the window and get some fresh air in the room.
Nothing to dislike, yet for consideration- After 23:00 it's only self check-in, so better do your check-in online before arrival to save time. Check-in kiosk at the reception is rather clear and quick. Shower in the room seems to be a modern design these days. Should be considered if you're with someone else and need your privacy. For one person it's a non-issue. Corridors- when arriving at night, might feel a bit dodgy due to the old building. A bit more light or some pics on the walls should do the job. Housekeeping sign- make sure you don't get confused. At this hotel, you should hang the sign only if you DO wish Housekeeping to come in. We really liked it this way ?

The area is good, and the little staff we spoke to (at the coffee shop) we’re very nice and helpful.
The images portrayed online entirely misrepresent what the hotel looks like. It’s not like a grand hotel with a big entrance, it’s a small hotel with no check in staff to speak of. The rooms were also very large with little furniture and our AC did not appear to worj. I just expected more for something called “Lux” with the branding you have and the price point we paid.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lux 11! It was really warm in room, there was even a kitchen and the balcony! The view from it was wonderful, despite it’s on quite big crossroad, the soundproofing was pretty good. There are a lot of amenities around the hotel, Metro station approximately 5 minutes away. And of course how not to mention the style of the room - it looks so modern, nice and new! We were really satisfied with our stay, totally recommend??

Place has welcoming automatic doors & you can check in online. I arrived earlier, my flight arrived at 0800 in BER Brandenburg. So, I had a lot of time before the check in. There was coffee room & inner backyard for smoking. Also the stuff kept checking on me if I was doing okay while waiting for the check in. Nicole was very lovely and I really appreciate her care. Room is great with huge 3m walls, making the place spacious. Also we had a balcony for smoking with an ashtray ready.
A few minor problems: 1) The balcony does not have a roof. So it can get pretty wet after a heavy rain. 2) Shower has sections that are transparent. Which is great when you're staying with a partner/spouse. But a bit less comforting when you can see someone in the building across the road. (I went straight into the shower without realizing this feature and not closing curtains, so a bit of my fault.) 3) I feel like duvet cover is made from synthetic, because I was somewhat sweaty when I woke up.

Staff in restaurant and bar is generally very nice.
Self-checkin by tablet is a ghastly way of turning off people who value human contact and don't go to a hotel to feel like at airbnb. Last year there was normal check-in. This year, by default, you've to do 'self-checkin' at tablet. What's the purpose of employing people at reception, if I've to do their job? What's the purpose of calling it a hotel, if I've to do job myself? I rented Deluxe Room (room 314) where I stayed last year (photos on booking.com are crystal clear - it's beautiful, view from bed is on bow window and outside). Instead, I was put into some kind of Double room, where when you lay in bed you face room's door and wall. In addition, you've king bed with two small single duvets instead of one large duvet for king bed. If you come with a partner / spouse, you'll each sleep under separate duvet - what's the purpose?!
