Exceptional
Considering that I was attending concert in Waldbuhne the location of the hotel was perfect, there was a parking space where I could leave the bike overnight. And staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was perfect and temperature very refreshing du to the fact that outside was very hot.
The only downside was the elevators that were a bit slow, but it was possible to use the stairs.

Pleasant
Comfortable beds, pillows, everything clean and nice.
I arrived at midnight with my two kids, after a long drive. I booked and paid for my stay. Instead of taking the room key and go sleep, I had an hour and a half long discussion with the reception personnel about the payment and the fact that he wanted the money AGAIN. That he didn’t care what the vendor =booking.com did with my money, he wants his money NOW. And he will not give me the room key before I pay. After several phone calls with someone to help him figuring this out (no success), he finally got in touch with the hotel manager who allowed him to let us go in the room, because this way half the night is gone.
I was very irritated by this.
A lot of cigarettes smoke in the lobby, not sure from where it came and it’s a non smoking hotel.

Very Good
Superb breakfast, also S bahn and U bahn stations are close by. U2 bahn takes you to city center in like 15 minutes. Few nice places to eat around hotel.

The location was good
There was no mini fridge. The room was supposed to be triple room, but it was just a double room with the couch made as bed, so it was very tight space. The door for the staircase made unbelievable noise everytime it was used. We had to wait more than an hour for our room to be ready and we were given three free small drinks for this wait - three drinks do not equal more than an hour waiting in the lobby for the room to be prepared.

Renovated and clean. Good location right near U-bahn station.
Elevator situation needs to be addressed. Several times we waited for it for 20 minutes.

Wonderful
Excellent location near restaurants, stores, train, opera house, bakery.
Elevator- always a long line waiting for elevator. I guess hotel was fully booked at that time.

Exceptional
The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean for the most part, the location is great and it was a very comfortable stay.
My biggest 2 complaints are that the water pressure inbthe shower is really low and that the toilet is not being cleaned well enough and smells like urine.
Only other complaint is that the trash can in the hall is not emptied enough and either smells or has things stacked on it for days.

Very Good
The breakfast and related facilities were excellent. Location close to public transportation and nearly walking distance to Ku-Damm is great
When I arrived after 36 hrs of travel, 2 employees were at the check in desk discussing for over 10min minor issues with a guest couple. I had to request attention which was not pleasant. At the breakfast reception desk, a guest who seemed to ahd booked the room without breakfast, asked to be charged to his room. Instead of inform front desk so it will automatically be charged at check-out, it was a back-and forth dispute between the guest and receiving host... this not only delayed ny registration for breakfast but, while not impacting me directly, making me feel uncomfortable

Location was convenient and close to the U2 station, and price was good.
The lobby always had a large amount of people gathering there, some of them appeared a bit sketchy. The room was OK, but the carpets were a bit old and sticky in my room.
