Clean, quiet and near the metro.
They have other hotels from the same chain closer to downtown though (I checked and the price was the same but I already had my reservation)
The room we were given was a handicap accessible room, which we did not request. When I asked about it, the front desk said it was because I requested it (not true) and then claimed king beds are only in those rooms

Breakfast was good, what was amazing was that after running Berlin half marathon the hotel provided a room to shower and change in which was great

We have one triple room. The third bed was a fold out bed and it was defective. It came apart and fell down several times during the night. Luckily no one was injured or hurt but we were all scared. Despite our request to replace the bed, nothing happened. When we were returned to the hotel in the evening we ware receiving a reply that there was no one to change it in that time, no matter that our request was in the morning.
Also room cleaning supposed to be every second day, but nothing happened….

The bed was really uncomfortable. However, you can’t adjust the room temperature with the air conditioner, so the room ends up either too hot or too cold. Also, cleaning is not done regularly.

We very much liked the convenient location - attended a concert in Metropol and it was just around the corner:) also, easy communication by buses and u-bahn from nearby stations, close to Ku-Damm and Zoo. The hotel is nicely decorated, staff was very nice and we even had an early check-in, over an hour before 2pm:) The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet and clean.
We didn’t like two things - one is lack of proper bathroom door - thankfully the toilet is separated with tiny door but still, we’d appreciate more privacy in bathroom area:) The second thing we didn’t like is the room gets quite hot if the windows are not opened and if they are, the noise from the street doesn’t let you sleep:) but that is up to one’s preferences I guess:)

Very Good Breakfast: quality selection with generous serving hours
Check-in: they efficiently provided two smartcards immediately upon arrival upon arrival
