The InterContinental Berlin lives up to the expectation of being a four-star hotel, and it gives a bit of the superior hotel service of the 1970s. Everything from employees to the incredible breakfast was outstanding. Two caveats: Parking was very costly, and the use of the pool was also only possible via surcharge. For a hotel of this caliber, those two items appear cheap and should be remedied.

Great friendly staff, great ambience, great breakfast impress as right close to the centre
Limited selection for dinner but understandable as the rooftop restaurant was closed for renovations. So this should improve after August when repairs are done.

The location was perfect. Within 5 minutes walking on the Kurfürstendamm
We needed to pay extra on the spot for the use of swimming pool facilities. Even more when to use the sauna too. I can expect these for people who are not staying at the hotel. But I simply would not choose this hotel anymore due to the fact that guest need to pay extra for swimming. The car parking (one floor lower) is extremely tight when you have a bigger car. I know how to drive, but these was too much.
