We had a pleasant stay at ibis Styles Berlin Mitte. The price-quality ratio is very good, and the location is perfect, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, shops, and everything else you might need within a couple of minutes' walk. It’s a great option if you’re visiting Berlin for a few days.
We really liked the view from our room, with the whole boulevard visible from the window. The windows are very tall, which brings in a lot of natural light, and the bed was very comfortable, so we had a great night's sleep.
During our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations, so there was quite a bit of construction noise between 11 AM and 3 PM. This wasn't a major issue for us as we were usually out during the day, but it's worth keeping in mind if you plan to spend time at the hotel during those hours.
The bathroom setup was also a little unusual. The toilet door is made of opaque plexiglass and doesn't completely isolate the bathroom, as there are small gaps between the door and the wall, so you can hear everything. The sink is also located outside the bathroom, next to the bed, which is more of a personal preference than an actual problem.
Other than that, everything was clean, comfortable, and as expected. Overall, we had a good stay and would consider staying here again.

The location was great. Close to nice restaurants and really good area. Easy to reach. Effective and vintage. Because of cost it is a very pragmatic option. The layout of the rooms is not the best, i wish there was space for the luggage.
Dirty place! The bathroom floor was plastic and released an orange-like substance that stained the towels. Water never stayed in the shower so the whole room was so humid. Not enough space for toiletries. The place do the job but makes you want to leave ASAP

Nice area in the location
Staff were nice upon arrival and offered to give us different choices for breakfast during our stay but we encountered different staff the second day who were rude about the option we were given. We decided not to use the breakfast option to avoid rude staff members at the counter.

A stupid credit‑card policy. When you book directly through Booking, the payment should be charged immediately. Instead, they choose some random time that suits them to process the charge. Many people now lock their credit‑card authorization to prevent fraud and only unlock it when needed. In this context, the hotel’s policy feels outdated, negligent, and frankly foolish.

The location is great! The rooms are clean and the bathroom is quite big…
The lift is located in the middle of the floor so you have to use stairs after using the lifts to reach the rooms. My leg was injured so I felt so uncomfortable.

The hotel has a great location and good price. My room was very clean. It was in the back of the building, away from the street, and very quiet, The bed itself was comfortable and I had a good sleep. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful, checking in and out was easy.
The bed frame had a wooden platform that stuck out from the mattress and had sharp corners. The room was unusually shaped with a very tight space between one corner of the bed and the wall right by the bathroom door. I hit my leg on this corner and got a bruise then noticed this corner was also chipped and ragged, so it seems others had the same issue. Hard, protruding bed frames aren’t a good idea in smaller rooms, especially if the hard, protruding corners are somewhat covered by the duvet so you don’t see them.
Though the room itself was quiet, I could at times hear noises from the room next door very clearly. There was a locked door adjoining the two rooms, perhaps that’s why.
The bathroom was very small and didn’t have a counter or shelf to put things, so trying to balance travel toiletry bags on the tiny is awkward. I wouldn’t store anything on the small ledge behind the toilet because you never know how actually clean such a space is. I also therefore didn’t want to touch the tissues or glasses there.
The room had only three power sockets, one on the floor next to the far side of the bed and the other two on the wall opposite the bed. Neither are convenient for charging, as the two opposite the bed had nowhere to actually put the thing you’d want to charge and the one by the bed was still a bit of reach for a standard cable. I’m surprised to find hotels these days without at least a socket next to each side of a double bed at an easy reach. I could make it work though.
I only stayed one night, so all this was fine. My main concern is always cleanliness and safety, and I was satisfied here.

The location was walking distance to the museum island and to a lot of great cafes and bars. The bus and train station was right in front. The staff was so lovely, they suggested us places to eat which we really liked and on our last day, we could leave our bags there while we were out. Room was clean as well. We had a great experience!

There was not a space to open our luggage. And its a bit different bathroom to be honest.
