Pleasant
The position and choice of design

We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel. The design was amazing, the staff very helpful and the breakfasts were excellent in the quiet restaurant.
The were no hangers in the bedroom or bathroom!

Good
I choose for Location! Beautifully designed downstairs lobby, bar, restaurant.
Big Thank You to “D”, our valet for his professionalism and hospitality. He went above and beyond the front desk young ladies ( who were NOT helpful at all) at check! “D” made sure we had a suitable room since the first assigned room had dog pee stains on carpet and 2nd room we looked at had terribly stained carpet as well.
Hotel management- get rid of the filthy stained area rugs under beds. It’s insulting to enter a room, at this price point, to see stained carpets and have front desk (Youna, Paulina) offer to have house keeping “clean the rug”. It should have been cleaned before it’s offered to a guest.
Know ahead of time- this hotel caters to outside events so it’s likely that some of the areas are off limits to guests! I would like to have sat on the outside patio area, flip side of fireplace, however it’s a smoking area I guess. Strange because it’s actually inside the main lobby area. Management needs to pay attention to details and cater to their hotel guests.

The property and the staff exceeded my expectations. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Hotel staff for helping facilitate the return of my iPhone which i inadvertently left behind at check out. The office concierge went out of the way to communicate with me and ship the phone to my home address.

Disappointing
Striking visually though very dark. Staff were efficient and polite. There was a bath, which we like to have. Clean and recently refurbished.
Not very welcoming decor. Felt very impersonal. The TV in the room offered a turn down service but we followed the instructions and really struggled to get any turn down service. Small bath towels. Location was pretty far from most of the great Berlin sites.

Poor
The entrance lobby had some interesting art
There was a private party in the communal area so we could not have access to the bar or toilets. No prior notice of this was provided. I checked in late and was given a room directly above the party so was kept awake until 2/3am.
No explanation of facilities, breakfast timings, amenities.

Fair
The hotel is fine, no complains, it answers all requirements for business trip
reservation team is not very helpful. They rejected our humble request to refund at least any amount when the guest checked out in one night out of three nights booked after completeting the business trip unexpectedly earlier. Yes, Reservation followed rules and policies, but there are things like guest relation and customer service. Being right is not always right
