For the first time since coming here, I found myself waking up next to a giant reddish spider above my head. And during the last night, my bedsheet had been dirtied with some brown marks, which I couldn’t explain and decided to sleep on top of a towel just to avoid touching whatever that was.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Zoo Berlin. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We had asked if it might be possible to check in early since our flight landed in the morning. When we reached the hotel at around 10:45 a.m., we were pleasantly surprised to hear that our room was already ready. It was a wonderful start to our stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful. It has an understated elegance that feels both luxurious and welcoming. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully designed, with interiors that are stylish, sophisticated, and full of character without being over the top.
Breakfast was another highlight. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely looked after every guest. The breakfast room has a real wow factor—elegant, refined, and beautifully designed. It felt more like dining in a stylish restaurant than the typical business-style breakfast room you often find in many five-star hotels.
Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully designed. It struck the perfect balance between comfort and sophistication, making it a pleasure to come back to after a day of exploring Berlin.
Overall, Hotel Zoo Berlin exceeded my expectations. It combines outstanding service, elegant design, and a relaxed atmosphere that made us feel at home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time I'm in Berlin.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and appreciated the hotel's commitment to quality. One area that could be improved is the noise from the rooftop bar. In the evenings, the music could be heard quite clearly from our room, which made it a little difficult to fully relax. Better soundproofing or lowering the music volume later at night would enhance the guest experience, especially for those staying on the upper floors. Other than that, I have no suggestions for improvement and would happily stay at Hotel Zoo Berlin again.

The best breakfast buffet we have ever had, so much chose. We ate up at GRACE roof top bar and it was really memorable. Great hotel find.

The location is excellent.
The room was never cleaned. Returning to hotel after 4pm, I expected it would have been.
On checking out, staff never checked on my stay.
You could hear the people in the room above mine walking around.

Situated in a nice location with easy access to public transport. The common spaces in the hotel are large and very nice to be in.
I thought that our room was looking a little tired and could have done with a spruce up or a lick of paint.
