Beautiful hotel well positioned by the Zoo and shops.
Staff were so polite and helpful especially Robin Kleinau who couldn’t have been any more helpful.
The breakfast was fabulous and the choice was limitless!
The A/C didn’t work as it should have but was sorted promptly!
This was at the hottest time in Berlin!

Excellent hotel and location. Hop on hop off cab be found just outside. Zoo is close and stores for shopping.

the location is good, just back of the hotel were shopping streets ~~
some stuffs couldn't speak English and didn't understand what we asked for..

I booked a room specifically for air conditioner, I live in Berlin and I planned my weekends so I can rest in a hotel with little baby. I called in advance and asked whether air conditioner works fine. And know what? It didnt work. So it appeared 30% of their rooms had no working air conditioning these days, and while hotel was overbooked- we waited a day with 28 degrees in a room with little baby. The fastest way to move to room with air conditioner was lower class room. While I booked and paid for business premium, I got business deluxe what essentially a standard room. Smaller space, old furniture. Did they propose some compensation? For a day with no air conditioner and downgrade? No. And when I asked for that, they proposed a free breakfast for 1 of the days. It costed 78 eur. I suppose much lower than difference in room prices. But what was really high in this place is prices. 10 eur for bottle of watter, 39 for breakfast (while its super standard and low options). I wont ever visit this place.

Let’s start with the AC which is not really AC… embarrassing to call that AC
And add to that the fact that it broke in the middle of a massive heat wave and made us feel like refugees in our own ‘vacation’, we had to have wet towels and ice on us the entire night, we had no place to go and rest in the middle of the day, it was just the most horrible experience we ever had. It was no vacation, but a weekend of suffering.
And we called the hotel couple days before arrival to verify they have functioning AC, they assured us of course.
The hotel needs to pay us for that weekend.
And add to that that the soap in the shower was basically water, and they gave us a wrong room on arrival which water us 1 hour of exchanging room etc
This is no 5 stars hotel, and I’d be embarrassed to charge us for this weekend if I were them, but of course they did.

Comfortable beds. Nice area.
Poor bar service, slow and forgetful. Dire signage - easily lost at first and had no idea how the shower worked, or how to get to the spa. Very little helpful information in rooms.

Breakfast starts early in the morning, 6:30 AM. So you have plenty of time to enjoy it before you start your day. Not only it's early but the breakfast place has a fantastic design which prevents it from getting crowded and the food options are plenty.
The room was as clean as one can ask for. Nothing to complain.
I strongly recommend this hotel.
