We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but the location was ideal for local businesses to serve breakfast, which we much enjoyed.
The location was very good for all tourist interests.
Staff were friendly and helpful when asked for advice.
A little jug of fresh milk inside the fridge for tea or coffee would have been excellent.
The beef restaurant was not open for business which was disappointing.

It had separate shower area and bath tub.. something I never see :)

Right across from the location is the Berlin Zoo, which was the main reason for our visit. There are also many great restaurants in the area.
We had a leak from the AC that posed a fire hazard. We reported it as a safety concern and were told someone would come to fix it. Eventually, they changed our room to a smaller but newer one, which was a nice gesture. However, not a big deal, but the experience could have been better if they had offered to change the room from the start.
There is no parking at the location. There are a few options nearby, but if you have a lot of luggage, it can be frustrating.

Room was spacious, nice and clean. Huge variety of food at breakfast, very delicious. On the weekend breakfast lasts up to 12:00, what is very important to have a rest. When I was checked in early in the morning a receptionist proposed me a temporary room, as mine was not ready yet. The late checkout policy is very convenient and not expensive in this hotel.
I told the hotel reception beforehand that the flowers will be arriving on the day of my arrival, and asked to put them into my room. They replied that they will do it, no problem. However, when I arrived, around 20:00 in the evening, the flowers were still not in my room and I had to call the reception to bring them. On the flowers tracking number, the delivery time was stated 15:00, so the hotel had plenty of time to put them into my room, and, apparently, simply forgot. That's not a service I expect from hotel of such a class, and this happens 2nd time to me in this particular hotel, thus I need to give feedback about this already.

Beautiful hotel, two minutes from the Zoologischer Garten train station. Friendly staff, comfortable room and a relaxed lobby bar. Would definitely recommend.
Gin bar attached to the hotel was a little pretentious for us.
