Very Good
Liked the location, room was good enough,
the couch near the bed had some questionable stains, there was some problems with hot water which was fixed by the end of the day. They could have allowed early check in but I had to wait till the exact check in time

Good
It was close to the bus stop and businesses.
It's an old hotel. The elevator cabin is small if you carry large suitcases. No more than 2 people at a time. It's slow. I would not recommend it to go with the family.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location was good and we had a pleasant stay with our family.
Nothing. Everything was good.

The location
There's no means of heating your food should you buy a take away food to eat at your hotel.

The room is old, noisy, no refrigerator, and still has that old carpet from 19th century!

Disappointing
I booked this place at the last minute after my previous hotel canceled my reservation. So I had low expectations, just a bed to put my head and rest. But even those weren't met.
There was no hot water during my whole stay (3 days). The heating wasn't really functioning and I barely could find one plug to charge my stuff with (which was far from the bed). Oh, the Wi-Fi is also a sham- it's so slow it's not really functioning either.
The place is pretty clean and the sta
ff was nice, though. The area, though close to the Kudam, is still not that close to any metro station (10-15 mins walking distance). It's still pretty nice area though.
Long story short- with a few basic changes this place could've been pretty decent, even good place to stay. Sadly, right now it's not.

Good
When the property had an issue regarding heating and hot water, they directly contacted us and even gave us a good discount to make up for it. The room was spacious and enough for three people to stay.
The bathroom was a bit small but overall it was a good room. The internet connection is horrible and most probably you won’t be able to use it. Also we had to plug in the tv for it to work.

Poor
Breakfast was available for 10 EUR
Old building, think east germany 1970´s, old floor carpets in the coridors, old, claustrofphobic, noise-making elevator. Some cracked tiles in shower. Receptionist typed with two fingers, took forever to get three guests checked in.
First room was cold; a small radiator wasn't enough to heat it up. The additional wall heater was deafeningly loud, took hours to reach a normal temperature, and couldn't be used at night because of the noise. I was able to get a second room on the second night. Here one radiator was not working, but the other one was big enought to heat the room up. TV did not receive any signal. Wash basin was outside of the toilet, inside of the sleeping room.
WiFi was available, but not able to connect with my PC.

Wonderful
Staff is very helpful 24hrs. We have a big room and balcony and very nice view. Clean and everyday there's a cleaner who cleans our bathroom and collects the trash without asking them. Close to supermarkets, walking distance from the train station
Only 1 electric socket for charging in our room. No hot water in the shower, just warm. Hope they have coffee vending also.

The location was great, the staff were nice.
The walls weren’t soundproof, you could hear people in other room talking or walking in the hallway.

Pleasant
I would give a 6.5 rather than a blunt 6. In general the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet, offered for 10 EUR per guest, is quite good and enjoyable IMO. The price (70 EUR/ night, by the end of October 2025) for what it was offered was really convenient, especially in the area of Charlottemburg / Ku'damm, which are quite expensive in general. I might come back.
The hotel has a small lift were only one or two persons without luggage fit in. This could be tedious especially when one is assigned a room in the 5th floor or there are other guests queueing. On the way up you can see from the interior of the elevator several tags written on the walls and stickers that resembles an abandoned metro station rather than a "hotel".
The mattress of the bed was not too bad, but I was expecting something more comfortable. I could actually feel one of the coil springs of the mattress at night, which is a bit annoying.
I am not against wall-to-wall carpets in hotels, but I feel a bit disappointed when I see many stains, especially near the elevator.

The location is great - Charlottenburg is one of the best districts of Berlin. 24/7 front desk, we arrived at midnight and had no problems checking in. The room was good, it's an old building with high ceilings
Bed bugs... It was the first time in my life after visiting 100+ hotels in 30 countries that I've experienced something like that. To me it's crazy that it happened in the middle of Europe. My room was 214, I was a 3rd guest sleeping on a sofa. But the worst was the reaction of the stuff - "It is, what it is, what can you do?" Maybe throw that sofa away and do the disinfection of your old hotel that hasn't seen the renovation in the last 20 years???

I liked Berlin , the breakfast buffet was ok, and the staff was friendly, especially the kitchen staff. The location is also very convenient.
, but the hotel can use a lot of renovation. The carpet in the room was so discolored with dirt that you'd fear walking bearfoot, the windows were partially molded, the lift is just tooooooo small and scary and can use some modernization, the bed was a bit too hard on the back too. I appreciate that we had a place to spend the night, though..
