The room was huge!! Could have shared with a friend who had also booked a room. The receptionist showed us to the block where we were staying and was very attentive. The room was excellent, nice and clean.
The low ceiling going up stairs to the sleeping bit was inconvenient, but easy enough to cope with.

Location, plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes (good one opposite for breakfast). Tram stop outside. Nice open hotel layout. Very quiet. Good kitchenette

Good location near public transport. Still very quiet inside the campus. An oasis within the city. Nice restaurants and things like a bakery nearby. Nice other shops too. Flexible, personal attitude at the reception. Free good coffee and tea for guests, although we only found out the last day.
The free coffee machine could have been explained in the beginning, but that really is the only thing.

I liked the location as I was in Berlin for a concert at Max-Schmeling-Halle and it's a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is also easy to get to by public transport as there's a tram stop almost at the door of the building. The room was very quiet, spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
My only minor nitpick - it would have been nice to have the option of checking in a bit earlier, but the check-in time had been provided beforehand and I understand it's not always possible to check in early, so I'm not complaining.
