Perfectly placed with tram & bus stops outside hotel.
Around 30 minutes public transport into central Berlin.
Perfect for us attending the Union Berlin game.
Would definitely stop again
Only grumble was heating in the room wasn’t on when we 1st arrived. Very cold outside, would have thought heating in room would be on.

The second room on the top floor was very noisy. Also, I initially booked 2 rooms for double occupancy but later on, when my partner could not join me, I wanted to change one room to single occupancy which I wasn't allowed to do via bookings. But I knew that the hotel had rooms with single occupancy (cheaper) available! So, placing my order through bookings was a "handicap" in this case!

its a small hotel rebuilt from what once was a library and all rooms are named after famous writers. It definitely has a character and style in addition to comfortable beds and a great location in the heart of Koepenick. Enjoyed every minute there

Booking the place via booking.com was easy and fast. Location was central and place was clean.
I booked two room double-occupancies via booking.com. But later on, when I needed to change one room to single-occupancy bc my partner could not join me, I wasn't able to do it online, i.e. booking.com showed not availability even though I was told the hotel had rooms available. Would be good, if booking.com could be more flexible in this regard. So, I ended up paying 144 Euro for a room which a kitchenette occupied by myself but didn't need! The second room was very noisy.

Even prior to my arrival the staff were very kind and supportive, and accommodated my needs right away! They did everything it could possibly be done for my comfort. The food was good, room clean, comfortable and furniture is amazing! Loved it and I will be back!
I liked everything, but I would benefit from an elevator. It was all good!
