This boutique hotel is a beautiful historic building located in a quiet street right in the heart of Berlin’s Mitte district, close to many galleries, restaurants and tourist attractions. Dating back to the 19th century when it was used as a Christian refuge and hotel, the martas Hotel provides historic charm. Look forward to the bright and comfortable rooms with warm and friendly colors as well as traditional wooden floorboards. The martas Hotel Berlin Mitte is within comfortable walking distance of the Hackescher Markt cultural district, the UNESCO museum island, Alexanderplatz, the historic Unter den Linden boulevard, the Brandenburg Gate and the Friedrichstraße shopping street. The hotel offers excellent public transport connections to all parts of Berlin, thanks to the nearby S-Bahn (city rail) and U-Bahn (underground) stations. Please note that the reception is only open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. If you expect to arrive outside of these opening hours, please inform the property in advance to arrange check-in. Proper Hotel, with simple rooms that offer all basic one needs to crash at night and have a proper sleep. Everything was alright. I was able to drop my luggage for the day in the lockers that are situated in the entrance hall.

Excellent staff, really helpful with tips on what to see and buy, everyone was kind and patient with me, especially with my poor German. Very close to nice bakeries and has strong public transport links. They also had my room ready for me early which was great
Nothing major comes to mind, the only thing is that the building itself is a bit confusing to navigate, but you get used to it.

Pleasant
The location is in a pleasant area, with very nice cafés just a short walk away. The room was clean. On the ground floor, there is a lounge area with complimentary coffee and tea for guests.
We booked a double room, and in the photos on the website it appeared spacious and very attractive. We also requested two separate single beds. In reality, we received a very small room that felt more like a dormitory room rather than a comfortable hotel room. I am attaching photos for reference.

The hotel is small, clean, and quiet, conveniently located with excellent U-Bahn and S-Bahn connections. The staff was friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy free coffee throughout the day in a comfortable room where we can also eat our own food.
In my single room, the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking. Although the hotel's location was peaceful, the self-opening and -closing door in the corridor created some noise; however, this was only a minor issue.

The location was great very central and well connected to public transport. Even though the hotel didn't offer breakfast, they had a very nice lobby where I would grab a coffee and work for some time!
The noise coming from the corridor could be heard from the room

I liked everything: location, price, the presence of a dining room with the ability to drink for free natural coffee or tea. There is even plant-based milk. Near the metro and many cafes. There is also a supermarket nearby with an excellent selection and adequate prices.
