This boutique hotel is a beautiful historic building located in a quiet street right in the heart of Berlin’s Mitte district, close to many galleries, restaurants and tourist attractions. Dating back to the 19th century when it was used as a Christian refuge and hotel, the martas Hotel provides historic charm. Look forward to the bright and comfortable rooms with warm and friendly colors as well as traditional wooden floorboards. The martas Hotel Berlin Mitte is within comfortable walking distance of the Hackescher Markt cultural district, the UNESCO museum island, Alexanderplatz, the historic Unter den Linden boulevard, the Brandenburg Gate and the Friedrichstraße shopping street. The hotel offers excellent public transport connections to all parts of Berlin, thanks to the nearby S-Bahn (city rail) and U-Bahn (underground) stations. Please note that the reception is only open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. If you expect to arrive outside of these opening hours, please inform the property in advance to arrange check-in. Location.
Room lacked some normal hotel items like tissues, extra rolls of toilet paper, and drinking glasses. Did not like have two duvet on a double bed. You should offer guests the option to have one large duvet!!!

Very central, easy to get to once you know how, spacious airy room in old building, looking onto a courtyard where you could sit, wooden floor felt more like a ski chalet, good coffee freely available in the morning. Comfortable bed & bedding. Nice staff. It’s not luxurious but it’s good.
Didn’t realise there was more than one Martas in Berlin so walked to the wrong one to start with, and then got a taxi to the correct one. The staff were really kind at the wrong one! The room was next to the lift so that was a little noisy but it’s generally peaceful.

The location is perfect, really central and easy to walk around. The bed is also very comfortable. The room we stayed at was very luminous.
The shower was leaking as the plastic was not properly attached to the wall so each time it was used there was water on the floor. Additionally there is a vent attached to the light so each time we turned on the bathroom light the vent automatically went on and wouldn’t stop until ~10ish minutes since the light was turned off. The room we stayed at was next to the automatic doors of the floor connecting 2 corridors together so each time they were used we could hear them even though we were inside our room. They woke us up twice unfortunately.
