Hotel is located close to the Rosenthaler Platz with many restaurants and places to eat. It is within walking distance to the Museum Island Berlin. Hotel concierge is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a quiet garden area which is relaxing and a coffee street-facing counter. Taxi service is easily available around the hotel.
Unless you are familiar with the local transport system, its best to take a taxi to the hotel. The room is relatively small and is in desperate need for more lighting.

Good location, nice decor, nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay if you want to visit Berlin.
The layout was a bit too open for pur taste, and the absence of doors between the living room and bedroom was quite bothersome.

The room is comfortable and clean. location is perfect for Mitte visits with good transportation near by. good value.
I visited plenty of times this nice hotel while the check-in process was fast with someone actually attending the reception. I completely understand the need to move to automatic check-in but this could not be on the expense of the guests' time. I highly encourage you to make sure there is always someone present at the desk (not behind the door) so that if the process takes more than a minute you can assist on the spot. also to note that in case of issues raised during the night on the WhatsApp channel vs the AI robot that you inspect those first thing in the morning and contact the guest to let him know this issue is being taken care of. again our time is valuable. thanks a lot !

Everything is excellent except that I would rather have a shower stall and not a bathtub because I found getting in of the bathtub was difficult and somewhat dangerous (high step in and out and slippery surface.
See my comments above concerning the bathtub vs. a shower stall. Also, the pillows could have been firmer and bulkier.

Location.
Unfriendly staff. Room - small, air conditioning did not work, reported to customer service twice, they said they would send a technician but was never fixed. Room was very hot and stuffy. Had to leave window open at night for air but street was very noisy. This resulted in poor sleeping conditions for the entire stay. Staff did not seem to care. Very bad experience would Not recommend this hotel

Well equipped room with everything I would expect at this type of property, rich breakfasts with quality food, good wifi.
Getting a room in the 1st floor over Rosenthalerstrasse was a little bit difficult to adjust to for me -- very noisy, even at night. Trams, ambulances, people. But for people used to living in a big city this will be a non-issue.

The location, the vibe, the energy was amazing. This is a “happening hotel”, there is always something happening. We loved it, nice lobby, nice staff .
The only thing a can say is that our room was pretty small but it’s Berlin.

Breakfast was fine. The staff tried to remedy a bad situation.
Our room was on the first floor above the bar. On Friday night the music was blasted until 2 am. Although I fell asleep, my wife could not. On Saturday morning she complained and our room was moved to the third floor. On Saturday night, the music was not as loud, but the vibrations from the music still could be felt and kept her awake. (I am a hard sleeper. She is not.) She went downstairs in her PJs near 1 am and complained to the manager. He said they would turn the music down. But she still could hear and feel it from the third floor and didn't get to sleep until after the music was turned off at 2 am. Thing is, it's a bar. Not a night club. It's a small space. But they blast the music like it's a dance club. Also, the tub in the bathroom was very tall and difficult to step into. My daughter had a tough time. She is short. My wife, at 5 feet 6 inches, also had a tough time. At nearly 6 feet, it was even difficult for me. Plus, there were no handle bars to help one safely get into the tub. With a glass door that was glued in place, there was no flexibility to enter and exit the tub. This is dangerous and offered no accessibility.

The location is good and you can go easily to lots of bars and cafes. The property is clean.
The front desk staff claim that they are open 24/7 but that is not the case! After certain hours, there is no service. I asked for a bottle of water and a toothpaste but they told me to go and buy from the nearest store. The sink is in the room instead of the toilet. The lobby’s interior design and lighting is not pleasant at all.

The location is convenient, easy to access various transports and also in the neighborhood many options of restaurants, cafes and shops! Also personnel was great, understanding and always helpful.
The tram noise could be heard in early morning from the room. Besides that, it was all great.

It was the first time for me staying at Amano, I really liked it that I came back again to stay there in January again. Comfortable, spacious and clean modern room. It is well maintained, has blackout curtains as there is a bit of light coming from the street. I really liked Daluma apricot and pine soap.
What I really did not like was the check-in process. You are required to enter all your personal details on a stand-alone iPad, which is uncomfortable and frustrating. This includes invoicing information, full addresses, and complete passport details. Typing all of that on an iPad is simply not a good experience. I wish this information could be pulled directly from the booking. At the very least, a laptop or a proper keyboard would make a difference. I stayed at the same hotel again since and again, I had to re-enter everything from scratch even though the booking was done directly on their website. If this does not improve, in the future I will prefer staying somewhere else. This is fully outsourced reception work. After a long day, all you want is to get to your room. The lobby itself has a nice interior, and I would have liked to work from there. Unfortunately, it is too dark for actual work.
