The room that was given to us initially did not meet our expectations. Right in front of the window, there was the top structure of the atrium roof blocking all light, view etc. But the hotel reassigned us to another room on a higher floor which was good. The room was spacious and amenities very good. Service at breakfast was very good and buffet menu was extensive. The location of the hotel is excellent.
Some of the staff at the concierge desk seem not to be very eager to help. The exception was Mr. Marvin.

The property is beautiful both outside and inside. It is in a fantastic location on Pariser Platz, the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We really felt looked after during our stay, and it helped to make it a special weekend away for us.
If we had to choose one thing, the breakfast on the first morning was a little disappointing. The food was excellent but we felt like we didn’t receive great service as we waited a very long time for a waiter to take our order, having had to ask a member of staff for help as they went to walk past. The second morning experience was much better, so hopefully this was not a fair representation of how the service at breakfast usually is.
