Good continental breakfast. Very helpful staff always ready to help with a smile. Great location; Metro station across from the hotel and a main metro line is only 6min walk. Walking distance to Alexanderplatz and many restaurants.
We only had 1 pillow each! I suggest to add at least 2 more pillows per room!

Everything was really nice, since the breakfast until a good night of sleep. The hotel is close to Alexanderplatz, five minutes of walking, and close to some of the best museums in Berlim.

I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped, and the staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast was tasty and varied, and the location was excellent — close to the main attractions and public transport.
The only small downside was a bit of noise from the street, but everything else was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again.

The location of the hotel was very central. You could easily by tram or underground to different places. But it was not too busy. You could sleep well at night.
The breakfast room was very busy in the mornings. It could be due to the fact that there were holidays in Germany.

We were really happy with our stay. We actually got a much nicer room than we expected based on the photos – bright, modern, well equipped and perfectly clean, exactly as described. I especially loved how much daylight the room had, which is quite a bonus for a city hotel. The location is excellent: very central, with both U- and S-Bahn nearby, so it’s super easy to reach all the main sights, and many places are within a 10–15 minute walk. Berlin’s public transport is great anyway, but from here it’s even easier. Tip for future guests: download the BVG Fahrinfo app – it shows real-time routes and connections, you can plan your journeys and even buy tickets there (of course there are ticket machines at every station too). Getting to the airport from the hotel is also very straightforward, about 40 minutes by S-Bahn and the FEX, no hassle. Breakfast was a nice start to the day: everything was fresh and tasty, there were both sweet and savoury options, the pastries were fresh, so it’s perfect to have something proper in the hotel and then later grab something special in the city. Staff were exceptionally kind throughout our stay, and I really want to highlight Erika from breakfast – she helped us several times and was genuinely friendly, which you don’t always get in chain hotels, so thank you again to her. Overall, though, great value and a really good base for exploring Berlin.
The mattress had a slight dip from use, it was still fine to sleep on, just noticeable, and it’s better to go to breakfast before 8:00 if the hotel is busy, because it can get crowded and you might have to wait a bit for a table

The check out time is perfect to be around 12pm. That gives you a lot time after breakfast to get things together and leave comfortably. The wide selection in breakfast. Had some new dishes everyday.
The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The location is good next to the Galaria and Alexa mall, short distance to Alexander train Station, everything it's a walking distance from the hotel, good breakfast, good staff especially Rithah. Overall all good. For my next visit I would definitely consider Holiday Inn Express again.
I didn't like when they don't change my bedding even if they see the sheets are messed up.
