Exceptional boutique hotel. We rented three rooms and they were all charmingly different. Very quiet, clean and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel staff were superb. Location was near everything we wanted to be near with restaurants, shops, etc. but the street was quiet and pleasant.

Disappointing
Location and interior and exterior decoration. Size of the room.
Obviously this hotel has a unique interior design that takes you back in time. However, upon entering it in the summer, you feel a big fat sticky hot air. This doesn't change when you reach the reception. And it also doesn't change in the room: there is no AC. Just big windows and no fly screens. The bathroom was okay until you go to shower and the shower head is malfunctioning or the towel rack looks older than yourself.

Wonderful
I only stayed in Berlin one night to meet friends for dinner and this hotel is in great location in the central commercial area and easy to get to from the airport by public transport. Staff are very friendly and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. The free WIFI was also of good quality and bandwidth. The hotel has real character. Next time I come to Berlin I will definitely look to use Henri Hotel for a longer stay.
As with many older buildings in Berlin, there was no air conditioning, which made the room a little uncomfortable given temperatures of 28oC plus outside. I would also suggesting changing the very small step in the bathroom to a little ramp as I don't know how many times I stubbed my toe :)

This hotel is really lovely. The staff are attentive and friendly. The shared space downstairs is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable. Great location. The hop-on-hop-off buses run from the end of the street, and there are loads of restaurants and shopping nearby.
There is a bit of noise from the hallways, but it is manageable. The front doorbell ringing constantly is a bit annoying in the shared space.
