Good location. Loved the breakfast spread and timing. Comfy rooms. Got a useful tip from a staff member regarding a purchase we needed to make in the area
Some inconvenience at the time of check-in as we were not informed by the staff that the room key will work only in a particular lift and we went to the other side with all our stuff

The location was really great. I didn't go for sight seeing, but first attractions are within walking diatance, train station, bus, tram... All just a few steps away and despite being on a busy road, I had zero noise issues. Breakfast has enough options for everyone. Bathroom seemed clean.
The staff wasn't unfriendly, but they didn't help either. The cleaning lady on my floor (7th) did not speak German nor English, so I couldn't explain to her that I'd appreciate it, if she waits till AFTER my checkout to enter the room. She entered the room twice. My bad for not putting the "do not disturb" sign up, but I am used to checkout rooms being done at the end, since they need a different cleaning. Which brings me to my complaint. I arrived late (2 night stay) and immediately saw how severely stained the hallway carpet and the one in the room was. I told myself, those are just staines and you don't lay your face on the floor. But then I saw marks on the furniture surface, indicating that they weren't wiped down since the last guest. There were food crumbs on the couch and floor, clearly showing that the room wasn't even vacuumed. I was too tired to talk to the front desk and since the bed looked okay I went downstairs in the morning to tell the frontdesk and to please give the room a proper cleaning. The room also had a little of a smell, but this was quickly fixed with opening the window Loong story short. Nothing has been done. These days people leave a bad review without giving a business the chance to fix it. But on the other side, a business needs to train their people to see the chance to fix something as well. Replacing carpet is expensive and some hotel guests are careless. But there is no excuse for not cleaning properly from one guest to the next.

The gentleman, whom learnt after, was the Food and beverage manager was extremely helpful to the customers during breakfast. The hotel was clean and the staff was awesome. Overall recommend this hotel to all the newcomers to Berlin

The location of the hotel is great. Close to the city center and good restaurants. Breakfast is good. Facilities are good value for money. Gym has all basic equipment.
The staff was ok. We were not greeted when passing by the front desk. Check-in was very basic and not really welcoming. The majority of the housekeeping team did not even acknowledge our presence. We requested a room move as our room was near an intersection where trams would pass by regularly. The staff did offer us a room move to a room on a higher floor, facing the exact same intersection. I guess they tried.
