The location was great as it was close to all sorts of public transportation. It was easy to get to the "M" lines. Within 10 minutes to Alexanderplatz Square to get on the S or U trains. I also liked the expansive hours of your breakfast in the morning. It was nice that it went until 11:30 am on the weekends and 11 am on the weekdays.

Rooms are clean, fresh, and modern. Reception were happy to store our bags. Air conditioning in the room worked great, even in July. The tram stop outside made it useful for exploring the local area east of alexanderplatz
We stayed on a busy weekend, so items at breakfast ran out quickly and took a while to restock.

Staff were friendly and helpful, good breakfast selection. Perfect location to explore the city, just a 5-10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz, where you can take the train/metro. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
The room was quite small with the sofabed in use. Would be fine for a couple, but with 3 people there was not much space to move. But for a citytrip, that isn't too much of a problem.

Good location.
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. When we entered the room, there was still trash from the previous guests in the bathroom bin, and there was no toilet paper. We were also informed that there is no housekeeping service after the first night of the stay. This was not made explicit when booking, and I cannot understand the reasoning behind this policy. Particularly when a room is already not properly prepared upon arrival, skipping the cleaning after the first night makes very little sense. After the first night, I needed the bed linen changed and also reported the trash left in the bathroom and the lack of toilet paper. I was assured that the room would be serviced. We spent the entire day out and returned to find the room in exactly the same condition. Eventually, a member of the cleaning staff had to clean the room while we were there. Unfortunately, the problems continued throughout our stay. On two separate occasions housekeeping failed to replenish the toilet paper, and on two other occasions bath towels were not provided. On those days, I ended up drying myself after showering with the small face towels because I simply did not want to go downstairs yet again to ask for something that should automatically be in the room. The toilet paper itself is also of extremely poor quality. The phone in our room did not work either, which made all of this even more frustrating. Every time something was missing, I had to physically go downstairs to reception. On some occasions I simply used my own Tempo tissues rather than making yet another trip to ask for toilet paper. Even borrowing an umbrella turned into another unnecessary problem. The hotel charges €10 if an umbrella is not returned. I returned mine and specifically confirmed with the staff that the return had been registered. Nevertheless, I was still charged €10 and had to go back to reception and complain in order to have the mistake corrected.
