We booked a double room with courtyard view but we had a room with street & tram view. When we asked the reception, they said that it is the same quality.. but no courtyard view. But the rest was great.

The room was great. Breakfast was great and switched up each day. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from Alexanderplatz and main transportation. The staff was very kind and helpful. Would definitely consider this place for my next Berlin stay.
If only because i have to write something in this field - the TV was nice and big, but had no netflix, hbo or youtube capabilities. It boggles the mind why they would still use such basic tv models in 2026.

Near the Alexanderplatz
The reception lady failed to mention that there is an ongoing renovation on the floor suggested to us. We had a room on the upper floor 8th floor And upon arriving the hallway was dusty and renovation materials on the floor. I started sneezing. We stopped immediately after getting out from elevator. We didn't get to the room at all But came back to the reception. Another person gave us another room on the first floor. Later in the evening housekeeping opened the room without knocking and was surprised to see us and said the room was supposed to be empty and was told to check. I said it's occupied now. A few minutes later the reception lady came knocking and wanted to verify are we occupying the room when we were supposed to have been given another room. We said to her The floor she gave she failed to mention that there is on going renovation on the floor. We asked for another room on another floor and was given the room which is available. We told her We didn't enter the room on the upper floor. We told her that you need to check with the other person that gave us the room and keycard. After few minutes she came knocking again asking the same question. Feeling annoyed after a whole day traveling we said to her Please check your system and stop bothering us. Our room is paid already and from the reception is where we got our keycard.

Had to swap rooms because I had 2 bookings for adjacent nights, even though I asked on check-in to stay in the same room

It was clean, spacious and the breakfast was amazing. We could store our bags while not checked in/out.
Beyond the hotel’s control but our room was near a noisy bar and we could hear music until late at night.
