The room was a good size and had a very cozy atmosphere. The location was convenient and close to the city center, with metro and bus connections reachable within a 6–7 minute walk. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel until the evening after check-out. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.
One small downside was that the room had a heater mounted near the ceiling instead of air conditioning, and it made some noise while running. It was a bit noticeable at first, although I was still able to sleep without much trouble since I was quite tired.

The neighbourhood is quiet and has a lot of nice buildings and restaurants. The size of the room was more than enough. For 2 adults and 2 kids, they unwrapped the couch and we had basically 2 full and comfortable beds to sleep on. The curtains are blackout and that is a nice touch if you want to sleep late. The breakfast was great: eggs in different forms, vegetables, a variety of stuff for sandwiches and sweets: pancakes, croissants, etc.
We stayed in a room at the first floor and the windows were not soundproofing very good, so all the trafic noise in the street was also in our room.

We really liked the apartment we stayed in. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the subway station and walking distance to many attractions. The accommodation was extremely clean and tidy and well equipped. Nice and clean bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Additional toilet. Well equipped kitchen and a nice terrace. Very peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff were very friendly. We hope to return to Berlin and stay in this great apartment again. The accommodation is highly recommended.

Good that they have a lift. Breakfast was nice.
It would be nice if snacks were available for purchase at the hotel when arriving in the evening. There were shops available outside the hotel. Traveling with a 3-year-old child and being in the 8th month of pregnancy, the beds were not comfortable enough. However, for a short stopover, it’s okay.

The most spacious apartment I've ever stayed at in Germany (914sqft), daily housekeeping was so thorough and efficient but what makes Grimm's Mitte a 10/10 are the friendly staff namely Oscar (front desk) who always greeted me with a smile and Elvira the housekeeping supervisor who went out of her way to help me and even popped by the day before I checked out to say goodbye. I stayed at Grimm's for a week and it honestly felt like home. Great location close to Alexanderplatz and there were some great restaurants and cafes nearby and a Netto supermarket just 100m away. Pizza Berlin across the street has awesome pizzas and there's a cute little cafe called Spatzle Club which has amazing bratkartoffeln. Fancy Italian next door to Grimms and World of Pizza right across the hotel for late night affordable pizzas :). The apartment was fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils too. Oh and I loved the heated floors in the bathroom which came with a full sized bathtub, my 12 yr old insisted on baths everyday, excellent water pressure too. And I REALLY appreciated that they allowed us to check in early after our long flight.
I had few complaints but if there are some points which could make it even more perfect: include a microwave as it was a hassle to heat food up on the stove or oven, the washing machine wasn't working (although Elvira was kind enough to do our laundry) and they offered to move us to another apartment but that would've been a pain to pack and move. Would've been nice to have a smart TV as there were only a few German channels. The curtains could do with some fixing but it wasn't a big issue. I'm really struggling here to nitpick lol.

The location is excellent. The staff is friendly. The room is clean, and the apartments are of high quality. The price is pleasant.
There was no stable Wi-Fi. We stayed for 4 nights, and the staff cleaned the room every day without informing us, while we were away. This felt a bit uncomfortable, as we didn’t hang the “Clean the room” sign. There was also no drinking water in the room.
