Our room was on the second floor. It is a short walk up to the second floor and the hotel is beautiful and cozy. The breakfast is down stairs and is fresh and their is plenty of room to sit in a little dinning room area seperate from the kitchen where you serve yourself from a medium sized buffet of breakfast foods. There was eggs, oats, waffles, muffins, etc. as well as coffee and teas. It was really nice and we took advantage of it one of the morning instead of going out for breakfast.
TBH this is exactly the kind of hotel we enjoy. It feels small and private. The front desk is warm and welcoming.

This location was a convenient walk to Charité Hospital for our visit. We had a very nice welcome by the staff and enjoyed our time there. The breakfast was delightful with a variety of food and several rooms to sit in. It looked like you could even sit outside in the summer. We were able to park our rental car safely in the garage - tight parking if you are not used to it. It is a walk up without an elevator if you are used to such things. The garden out back was quite pleasant. They were very accomodating in storing some of our luggage when needed. We would definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed the restaurants in the area.

COMFORTABLE!!! Though there is no lift if you are on other floors, it’s worth the stay. Clean, clean, clean… hypoallergenic linen, adorable coffee/tea station, comfortable bed, sofa, plenty of storage, amazing staff!

The garden is a hidden gem. The staff is warm and accommodating. The garden studio suite is spacious. Breakfast is tasty. You are across the street from the tram and train station. Several amazing restaurants within walking distance. A great place to jump off and see the city.

Some of the rooms require you to climb multiple flights of stairs. If you would have difficulty with this, let them know at the time that you so they can assign you a more easily accessible room.

It was very peaceful and the garden was a wonderful haven in the midst of a busy city. Noah at the front desk was a great host and gave me some great recommendations for food.
I’d definitely recommend staying on the garden side as the other rooms were very loud with road noise.

This truly is a hidden gem in the middle of the city in a central location. Very much a boutique hotel with vintage touches and old world charm, and a peaceful garden oasis to relax in. My room was spacious and very clean. The entire staff was beyond amazing, and the reason for the 10/10. They were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Noah and Tami who were always willing to assist to make my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. They also made great local recommendations. I wish I could have stayed longer and would definitely stay here again!
Merely suggestions: I would recommend the hotel provide earplugs in the rooms that face the street. There was no A/C in my room, and the street traffic was more audible with the windows ajar. This is specific to my room - more counter space in the bathroom would be convenient. I had to place my toiletry bag, etc on the bathroom floor.

It was very impressive. There is a beautiful small garden. The room is clean, cozy, and quiet. I also liked sufficient supplementary water and coffee (at the lobby). I will come back to this hotel.

Frankly, this is one of the best places I stayed on my numerous trips to Europe. Staff were exceptionally friendly AND helpful. It was lovely to have access to quality coffee for free and even a small snack to enjoy in the wonderful garden or lounge. Moreover, wine, beer and other drinks were available for a modest price. The room far exceeded my expectations from every perspective including the price. Most everything is within walking distance, but I confess I love to walk and explore. Otherwise, public transportation was at the doorstep! Breakfast was also delightful with an abundance of delicious choices.
