A very decent conference hotel. Modern, clean and incredibly spacious. It's a fantastic venue if you are attending an event, there's plenty of space so you don't feel over-crowded. There is AC in the rooms, which was greatly appreciated as the weather turned out warmer than expected. Reception were able to offer me toothpaste when I forgot to bring some. The hotel has a large main lobby where there are several restaurants, bars and communal seating areas. I ordered room service from the Italian which includes a tray charge of 10 euros. A 10 minute walk from the S-bahn station Sonnenallee.
After checking-in, I had trouble finding the right lift to my floor. There are four wings which each have dedicated lifts up to your room. Due to the size of the lobby, I was given unclear directions so walked in circles before I found the right entrance to my wing. Pillows are far too soft, I stacked four together and they didn't provide enough support. Bottles of water are provided in the mini fridge but come at an extra cost of 5 euros each. Please note that there aren't a tonne of amenities in direct proximity to the hotel, so it can feel a bit isolated. The immediate area is quite industrial.

It gives off luxury vibes. I was here because I attended an event that was taking place in the hotel and it was so nice to rest in my room for a while during the breaks. The structure is really big!! And the staff was really kind
I have two complaints about the room. One, it’s the toilet. The doors are those semi transparent ones, there is a big hole to move them instead of a knob, which is like…okay, some couples may like it but it’s a no no for me, no privacy this way. It was also very heavy.
The other complaints are the pillows, they’re too soft so it’s difficult to support your neck and head. So the sleep quality was really not good because of the pillows. The matress was really good. The room is very spacious so if it wasn’t for these two things it would have been really perfect.

rooms and hotel was very clean and modern. Good choice of food.
There was a staff member who was young, had glasses and a beard (brown hair) who was very rude today 15/03/26. I do think he was racist and stared at me at lot as I have olive skin. The area this hotel is in also feels unsafe

Estrel hotel is a large complex with rooms, congress center etc, always full of people. Although the hotel tries to come accross as something exceptional, the experience was rather average.
Rooms are good and beds are comfy, what is missing is any equipment for cooking yourself a cup of tea, coffee or similar. Minibar offers water for 5 EUR/bottle. Breakfast was nice and lots of options. Staff always helpful. A small gym and wellness also part of the hotel, we didn’t dare to try it since there might be millions of people as all the time in this hotel.

Breakfast is fantastic.
Cleaning personnel never refilled my soap and shampoo my whole stay so I had none the last day. Also no lotion, conditioner, or make up remover offered
