The hotel is in the central Mitte area and within easy walking distance of a U Bahn and of many points of interest, including museums and sections of the Berlin Wall. Our room was in a quiet area, spacious, well appointed and very comfortable - the recipe for a good night's sleep, ready for more sightseeing in the morning! Talking of the morning, the hotel breakfast was magnificent, with a wide choice of everything you could possibly want. If we go back to Berlin, I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly.

It was a calm spot in Berlin within easy walking to many historical sites - e.g Jüdisches Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, Museum Insel. If you want shops nearby, maybe not your cup of tea. Breakfast had a good selection for all.
Ate supper with friends on Sunday evening in the restaurant. Very pleasant.
I'd prefer proper coffee in the room on awakening, not Schnellkaffee.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but please let reception tell tourists to be more aware of THIEVES!!!! This should be told to all who visit Berlin!!!! We were robbed by a group of young females wanting money for "disabled children" in front of the Humbold Forum. They are professional and trained to distract through holding up a petition to sign. Not new, I know, but they are clever and professional.
