The room was really spacious, nicely designed and very clean. The cafe at the top floor had an amazing view and 24/7 free coffee. The location was amazing. But most of all the manager, Despoina, was excellent at her job and the main reason we have such a good opinion of the hotel
There was a heating problem with our room and we ended up changing rooms. The second room had also the same problem, to a lesser degree. Luckily Despoina provided us with a small heater which was enough to warm up the room

Location was perfect— very central and next to an UBahn station. I was greeted by very friendly staff and felt welcomed. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I also made use of the sauna which was great in the middle of winter.

Breakfast was great, loved the options you could order. Liked to get coffee and tea the entire day and to sit in upstairs area at night. The light switches, heat, shades are a bit hard to figure out. Workout room is not great, no free weights. Sauna was nice, staff were all wonderful. Location is perfect! We had an amazing stay!

I have stayed many times and keep returning for the spacious rooms, lovely and attentive staff, thoughtful design, amazing location in Hackesher Markt
There used to be more variety in free snacks throughout the day (pastries, fruit, carrot cake, etc) in rooftop lounge and now they barely have a couple of dry pretzels for the entire hotel, later in the evening there was nothing left; I remember fondly some maple syrup pastries and a carrot cake from my previous stays.

Everything was great, we enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean, all as described. Service was very welcoming and nice.
I would prefer to have 2 separate rooms for a bathroom and a toilet, as the current setup of just a divider by shower curtain is not really convenient.

Fair
The hotel has a nice vibe with hipster details situated in a great location with public transport right across the street. While it potentially could have a lot to offer, there are definitely improvements to be made.
The room has enough space and is well organised. Be mindful if you are sensitive to noise that there is central ventilation throughout the hotel and it is making a constant humming noise in the room, it also means it doesn’t get really warm (at least for us in December). The reception offered us a portable heater to put in our room.
Shower is very good.
The sauna on the ground floor is a nice addition and is clean and well maintained.
Staff is willing to help and always available but we didn’t find any that spoke german and their English was quite limited. We think the staff should speak at least perfectly English and know enough about the city and the whereabouts, which they also didn’t. All of them are very young, most of them seemed to be in training and seemed unsure about their work.
Breakfast is extremely disappointing!! We missed some variety as we stayed 5 nights and there was not much alternative. It would have been nice to have some buffet style food to choose from, like cheese, fresh cut vegetables etc. Waiters are present but quite clumsy and helpless. Kitchen staff very poorly organised. 2 times they forgot my order and we heard other tables complaining as well about forgotten orders or wrongly delivered orders. No bread refill either, once we asked and waited 20 minutes to then get a still frozen bread loaf. You can ask for simple eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes and 2 slices of Gouda cheese. At least coffee is good and complementary along with water and tea throughout the day.

Wonderful
An excellent choice for the city's first-time visitors, design admirers or business travelers. The hotel is designed with impeccable taste and there's nothing missing in terms of amenities / services. The whole hosting experience is very friendly and warm. Pro-tip: you should definitely try "Bar Basta" - easily compared with the best bar-restaurants of the city!
The A/C was a bit tricky to control - other than that, a great overall experience!

Great design, amazing showers , loved the vibe and feel
Heavy loud doors, since the floor plan is rotated and the bathrooms are at the window and the bedroom at the door - you can hear some louder activities on the corridor
