Wonderful
We really loved the hotel! :) 1. We received a free room upgrade, and the room was much bigger than the one we originally booked - that's really super nice surprise :) 2. The breakfast was delicious and varied 3. The online check-in system was very convenient 4. Great location: the hotel is close to all kinds of public transport stops, many attractions are within walking distance, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby
What was missing: it would be great to have a kettle in the room

Great & especially very calm location in the heart of the nicest area of downtown Berlin. Good value for money.
The rooms sometimes have a feel of a old school hotel, with funny bathroom set up.

The restaurant only really offers breakfast. Slightly inconvenient, but there were enough options nearby to compensate.

I wish there was a seating area in the room and coffee/tea in the room. We couldn’t even get coffee or tea did free in the morning until the breakfast was over. That was kinda weird.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel CALMA Berlin Mitte! The staff were fantastic — special thanks to Abdel, who went above and beyond to change our room and turn our disappointment into a great experience. He truly did his best to make our remaining days comfortable and pleasant. ?? The digital key entry was so convenient and easy to use, which made coming and going stress-free. The room and the whole hotel were very clean and well cared for. Highly recommend for a comfortable, hassle-free stay in Berlin!

Excellent central location, clean comfortable room. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. One of us had a knee injury and the front desk staff readily provided us with ice packs. Abdel in particular was very kind and helpful.
The only (minor) issue was the room was a little small, but it was still clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was great! Many choices and perfect for me. Good coffee. The location was wonderful. Quiet, easy to go to restaurants, tram. Shower was good.
check out was awful. That needs to change somehow. I checked with the front desk and they said, just go online and checkout. When I did that it would not let me checkout because I unknowingly had not been charged for breakfast. But they did not send the invoice. I had an 8 am flight and the taxi came at 5:00 am so no one was there. Also , no idea where to leave my key card. It was too stressful to deal with all that when I am trying to leave. No AC in the room and mine faced the afternoon sun so it was hot, even with a small fan provided. The ad should state boldly no AC.

I strongly urge you to offer coffee and tea during the morning hours. Not everybody wants to have a breakfast for €20. It would’ve made a big difference for us to be able to get a cup of coffee. When I asked to get a cup of coffee for this morning before an early morning flight, they told me no. That’s very hard when you’re traveling internationally

Proximity to public transportation and some of the places of interest.
21 Euro for breakfast per person is a bit overpriced. We couldn't justify eating at the hotel. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are too thin.

The rooms are spacious and include high ceilings, at least on the third floor. We loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The location is ideal as it’s on a residential street but very close to public transportation and cafes.
The entrance was a bit tricky to find from the main street. Also aware that any noise in the courtyard of the property gets amplified a bit by its echo, however the windows are fairly insulated when closed.

The hotel and room were very convenient and comfortable. The hotel has great location. All the attractions are close to the hotel. The hotel located in the quiet area of the city.
As it was mentioned in the room facilities that there is no kettle in the room, but it was very inconvenient. Also, there was a coffee machine downstairs from 13:00 to 21:00, but as a guest would be very comfortable to have a kettle on the room to drink tea or coffee in the mornings and evenings.
