The rooftop whirlpool
The state of the building, the mirror was smashed in my room, the carpets were stained and dirty, the bath plug didnt work, I got given a room that already had someone in it so had to wait longer to get my own room when I arrived at 7pm, there was no hairdryer available at all, no iron, no water on arrival, no tea or coffee available

Great location. Rooms are great, especially the spa baths. Plenty of storage for clothes and room safe provided.
No kettle in the room or tea and coffee making facilities.

Good location, good jacuzzi, decent bed and pillows
It could use a bit or renewing into some areas like the wall paper is coming off, sauna was cold twice etc but nothing that would be a stopper for me to be there again.

Great location, I always stay in this area anyway. Rooms nice and clean and good housekeeping staff. Reception staff friendly. Spa quite nice. There was a safe in the room.
My room had a faint smell of bad drain pipes but not from them. The smell was in the middle of room in one of the pillow positions ok the bed which was strange. I could not figure it out.
The room lacked some basics that you would get in much cheaper hotels in the same area, such as there was no kettle and no where to put luggage in the room. My bag had to sit on the floor in the way.
Im terms of sleep I was very disappointed . The bed was quite hard and the pillows were very very soft or very hard. Additionally, as I was on the first floor the bar downstairs kept me awake with the music (very noises base, bed shaking at some points). Then when the bar closed there was 45 mins of dragging furniture around which was very loud. This was awful the night before the Berlin Marathon and detracted from my experience of the next day (and my performance) as I had less than 4 hours sleep.
I could also hear a lot from next door rooms (doors banging shut, toilets flushing etc). The hotel is advertised as having soundproof rooms but this is just simply not the case at all and was very disappointing.

No meeting spaces, restaurant & bar leased out to another business. The rooftop is hideous and needs to be renovated.

Great location and has the potential to be a fantastic hotel. At the moment very tired and run down.

The best thing about the property was its cleanliness. The cleaning crew was top notch.
The rooms are looking worn in need of a freshening. The spa facility was subpar, the steam room didnt work during my entire 10 day visit. There were never enough towels. The gym doesnt even have a padded floor or mats to do floor exercises, or music, or enough weights at the lower weight. One machine was broken the entire 10 period I was there. There is no bar. No community area other than the spa, which closes at 10 am.
