Everything. Location is very central. You have everything nearby. The bed is comfy. Nice GYM. Good value for money
Nothing. If there was. I’m sure the wonderful staff will fix it. The team is one the best and most professional I’ve ever seen. They treat you and take care of you as a family member.

As always, my stay at the Axel Berlin was a pleasure. The hotel has its own unique atmosphere and style, just like Berlin itself. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and cared for. Special thanks to Milan and Natalia, who made my stay even more enjoyable.

The room was beautifully decorated and large. We especially enjoyed the corner view and the trees. Location was perfectly accessible to everything by taxi or carshare, which was reasonable. As well as the nightlife for the LGBTQI. The staff was great, especially Ishaim at the front desk. The rooftop spa and outdoors were a great way to unwind and see the city as well. Breakfast was plentiful and had choices for vegans/vegetarians alike.
The hot tub temperature could be warmer. The restaurant was ok.

The staff in particular was eager to please, knowledgeable and helpful when I had special requests, such as calling taxis multiple times each day, providing an iron & ironing board for special ironing needs, and at breakfast (which is served by a waiter from the menu!) they accommodated my requested changes in some of the ingredients:)) Upon check-in, Ishan at the reception desk gave me an upgrade on my room with a city view, and Kevin (also at reception) was always helpful, and his cheerful mood always made me smile. In short, a wonderful stay!

Elevator was slow and only one of two was working. The outdoor whirlpool was lukewarm and the jets didn’t have enough power.

Really great location. The staff was very helpful.
We were there for a total of eight days and only one elevator operated the entire time. One of the staircases empties out into a restaurant. When the restaurant is closed, the door is locked and there is no way out. The second egress/staircase goes down to a private office And an alarm door. This felt terribly unsafe to me.

Amazing stay at Axel Hotel Berlin – truly wonderful staff!
I had an amazing week at Axel Hotel Berlin! From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were warm, efficient, and welcoming. I especially want to mention Kevin, who took care of me throughout my stay — always friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. He made me feel at home every single day.
The maintenance team also deserves a huge thank-you — every encounter with them was pleasant, and they were always helpful and smiling. It’s rare to meet such dedicated and positive people in every department of a hotel.
Thank you all for making my week in Berlin truly wonderful. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Axel has become home in berlin. As a regular client there i just have to point out the huge improvements . The friendly team is caring and very proffesional. Milan at the reception was super nice. The cleaning team is making a wonderful job, they look at all details . The bedding quality is superior. When you check in you find some welcome cards, some candy. And now they also offer a free bottle of water.
The staff called me like 20 minutes after i checked in to check if i liked the room and if i needed anything. A hotel that cares and works hard to please its clients.
Without a doubt the best .

Very close to anything LGBT+ related. Decent gym (no treadmill :( ) seems like there are some renovations happening. Actually decent sauna and steam room/tub. Rooms could smell/be cleaner/more modern.
Rooms were a little old/dated. If they smelled better, had a slight upgrade this could be a really nice place. Maybe add a bar too downstairs or something.
