Everything was within walking distance. Shopping, train to the airport, gay bars, and a variety of restaurants. The staff was exceptional. They have a great command of the English language which made communications much more fluent. There was one staff member who was so sweet and cut above the rest. He answered all my questions with a smile. I didn't get his name but is of indian or MAYBE middle eastern decent. What a lovely young man. I would definitely recommend this facility to my friends.
Nothing really stood out as needing immediate attention.

Great hotel and location is also great - near Shopping straat KADEWE and nice Bars just around the corner. Staff is very friendly - Housekeeping and Kevin from Reception are very hospital.

The receptionist Kevin, was true professional and always with a smile. I the spa area nudity is more than welcome, so everyone can be nude. This is a big plus for the Axel hotel in Berlin
I stayed at a superior room, but I prefer the junior suite, as I at the past had stayed many times
