Location.
Electricity went out in my room for ca. 3-4 hours (very stressful!), desk staff had gone home, emergency contact numbers proved to be for some third party in Dresden and Leipzig (an insurance company???? - never did get clarity). After electricity was FINALLY restored (blown fuse was reset), I was offered a measly cup of coffee to compensate. The handling of this emergency really inadequate and troubling. I was forced to start looking for an alternative lodging.

Great breakfast, although a la carte - not buffet. Our room was large and equipped with a small kitchenette and kitchen utensils - very handy for a longer stay. A lot of complimentary drinks were made available in the minibar. The location is central, although not really close to the main touristic attractions, but the city is well connected so it was not an issue at all.
We parked the car in front of the hotel and we got a fine although parking was supposed to be for free over the weekend. We recommend asking for instructions about the parking at the hotel - we did not and we regretted it :)

Location perfect, reception staff great. Room large and had all we needed, very good shower and rooftop/garden view, good lighting and heat control. Fastest lift we have ever experienced!
Overall we liked not having daily room cleaning - but over 6 nights it would have been good to have a quick clean half way through (bins, hoover, fresh towels, restocked loo rolls etc). The staff would probably have arranged this if we'd asked.

large room and windows in quiet location. very comfy bed. Friendly staff, when available
kitchen was poorly equipped and no daily cleaning - replacement towels, toilet roll had to be requested. We knew was an apart hotel but for price would have expected regular clean and check that supplies refreshed. there’s no real public lounge space so it really is an apartment only.

Loved the design of the hotel, everything looks and feels warm. It was so comfortable, like stepping into my own home.
The cooking pan was a bit too big for the stove. With the cooking pan, I could not use the other stove.
