Location
Rude housekeeping staff entered the room before check-out time & without knocking. We were not provided with the room or the number of beds we had paid for, and the issue remained unresolved throughout our entire three-day stay.

Location, price.
No internet connection, it had but it did not work, I reported it but it was never fixed. Also we where 3 people, and there was beddings for two only, so we had to take some of the sheets to improvise a sleeping bed on the sofa.

The Arabel Design Apartment was very nice, and comfortable enough for our large family group. The location was close to Potsdamer Platz and provided central city access to Berlin destinations.
However, the staff didn’t provide enough sleeping space accommodations and beds had to be shared. Worse yet, they gave robotic AI responses to important questions about the airport shuttle service. It took several repeated message requests to get a response over a week’s time and by then, it was too late to use the service. Finally, at check in, they gave us the code for the wrong apartment and it took an expensive phone call to sort the problem out.

Very Good
The apartment we stayed in was very nice. The two rooms were big enough for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids. The small kitchenette had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and although the rooms are a bit dated, it was clean and a nice place to stay. It also had parking on site, which was very nice for us.
I would give Arabel apartments an even higher score if it weren't for their communication through the booking messenger. They seem to use an AI bot to reply to messages. I was nervous about how the parking would work, and needed to pay for parking and the deposite. The AI bot did what AI bots do. It went round and round in circles and said it would do things that it did not and probably could not do. Eventually, after wasting time on my holiday, I called and the lady (actual person) took care of everything in a minute or two. Get rid of the AI bot!

Very big apartment.
Serious mold issues - smelt so bad we could not use the dining table area. We absolutely minimized the amount of time we spent in the living room / dining area. You could see damp on ceiling & stains on dining chairs & lamp. Also damp around the wall.
WiFi also kept disconnecting. Reported the issue and support said "fill in the maintenance ticket" ... that system didn't work, and reported that to support only to get zero follow-up and ownership.

Broken missing and dirty things in the aprtment and no hope of fixing issue with a chat bot that just ragebaits you all the time, only when we called them on problem was fixed and that was only after 4 days of our 6 day stay, very dissepointing
The aprtment itslef was BOILING! it was so hot that we needed to open all the windoes and door to tge hallway just to get a tiny bit of fresh wind. And when we tried to tell them that they, didnt do much at all to take care of the issue.
The bathroom smelled funky and so did the room, bed sheets were dirty as well as tge floor, beds were uncomftrbol and sqeuky and tge curtins were broken and not fixed.
Overall take this aprtment if you are looking for cheap travel and dont care about anything else

The apartment is spacious, tastely decorated, clean, comfortable beds. It lacks microwave and doshwasher
Customer service communication is awful. The lock in the apartment was broken when we arrived. Our urgent messages, emails, 4 calls, that were internationa,l did not help. It seems that we were calling call center where people worked oversees and had no clue about the apartment or how to contact Berlin services. We were leaving the apartment for 2 days unblocked, which is extremely unsafe. There is a reception next door, but there was no one there when we arrived or the next day. On the evening of the 3rd day we found a person in that office who contacted operations in Berlin and Jasir, who was very helpful, fixed it quickly. There should be a contact number directly to the operations in Berlin. By the way, there was a number in the apartment to call on case of the emergency, but it was a wrong number. They did not service Arabell Apartments. My overall rating is not about the apartment itself, but the customer service. I also cannot understand how the apartment was prepared for guests when the lock was not working

Exceptional
I really loved how luxe this hotel felt. We loved the beds, and the tall ceilings. The bathroom was really lovely and far better than my bathroom at home so that was wonderful! I have small children so we did come home late afternoon to relax and felt so comfortable in the beds and just enjoying the actual apartment. There was an easy bus connection (M48 or the M85) just a half block down, and a great pizza place around the corner with take away or a cute sit down area (Mezzaluna) and a great coffee breakfast place on the other side of the block (Cafe Aprikosenbaum). I paid for a parking space since we drove in and it was really great to have a place to park my car every day. They only have about 7 spaces in the courtyard but parking was always there for me when I came back and that is such a relief to not have to worry about it. We used the bus a lot of the time with a family pass but I did end up driving some of the times to certain places where we knew we could park.
One of the benefits of the room is being able to open the windows to get nice cold fresh air in to sleep comfortably but we did have trouble with noise at night from someone going through the trash bins and a group of very loud guests who were smoking outside hourly. That was probably just an unfortunate moment and not the hotel's fault and the staff wrote back right away when we wrote to them about it. I still found the rooms incredibly comfortable and would stay again happily! I just thought I'd mention it. My aunt found it slightly dark at night to walk to the apartment because we were in the second courtyard behind. I think lights might help at night through the main walkways.

I always like Arabel Apartments, location is good and most of the times the rooms are quit good. easy excess and posibility to park your car.
The fact that the interface today is only by massages is not very friendly and does not work in case of car park reservations. Besides this the shower head holder was broken which is very unpleasant to be able to shower. It is so simple to fix this when noted by cleaning. Most important is keep your accommodation in order because after staying with you for several years I see quality is going down in service and in maintenance of the apartment. Hope this feedback wil help you to be back on track.

The location was great. Not too far from the major attractions and transport, and a grocery store. It was clean with a minimum of cutlery and kitchenware. Tea and coffee too.
The noise from the kids partying in the other rooms was just horrible. They were partying until 2 am. For three nights in a row.
The room was too small for five people.

Spacious apartment with 1 bedroom in the good proximity of Potsdamer platz.
Have used it several times in the past years and was always satisfied.
The check-in process is fully self service (No staff at the site at any point) which may cause trouble for less IT capable people.
The apartments start getting to be a bit "worn out" - this year, there was a broken shower holder and despite us making a request to the maintenance, nobody came within 4 days or our stay.

The room and building are well maintained, modern and clean. You access the apartments from an inner courtyard which has the reception desk and there are elevators to get to you room. Everything works well and it is nice and quiet.
The wifi was spotty and not always reliable (would disconnect you or not work very well), the TVs in the room had no internet despite being connected to the WiFi, but it was ok for our stay we didn't come here to watch tv.
