The room was big, the sheets were soft, lots of hot water in the shower, great location, helpful staff.
The shower tended to drain into the rest of the bathroom. The whirlpool was not available.

The breakfast was not consistent with the price of the hotel. I expected better breakfast selection. Also the carpets were stained and looked like they had to be replaced.

Proximity to the S-Bahn and local restaurants.
1. When a hotel states that they have "air contitioning" in the room, it sets an expectation. Regardless of the German rules for the use of a/c, you expect to be able to remove the heat buildup that occurs during sunny days with sun-facing windows. No such luck. Not only was cooling unavailable, so was the system fan. It's hard to sleep in 80+F temperature heat, which brings us to issue #2. 2. I'm not sure what was inside the bed pillows, but it felt like a few wadded up tissues. A minimum amount of pressure would cause each of the pillows to completely flatten. My wife and I woke up with sore necks eack morning, even though we had stacked the pillows two- and even three-high. The room and kitchenette were terrific during the day, but I surely would have preferred to be somewhere else to sleep at night. For this reason, I give this facility a very vehement "thumbs down".
