Staff unwelcoming on arrival check in . Seemed uninterested in me as a guest. Breakfast was at best minimal and all is served and pre- laid out on designated table. I was disappointed in quantity on offer. My room:- I was allocated a wedding suite room which is on 2 levels with an annoying and very tight turning spiral staircase to reach sleeping area upstairs but only bathroom is small and narrow is downstairs by main room entry door meaning in night a guest has to use steps to use the toilet if required. Whilst a comfortable room its size meant it was cold and i had to hear using all radiators availbe because room was not pre heated at all. Great possibly for a wedding couple but for me as a single traveller I needed a single room on 1 level. Decided not to complain and move rooms due to the unfriendly nature in which i was welcomed. No check out time was written in room or told on arrival but at 11.20 a member of staff banged loudly on door and clearly wanted me OUt. Again rude and unfriendly service. The same staff lady was serving at breakfast seemed uninterested in my restaurant on arrival and when serving me.

The hotel is clean and comfortable.
Staff decided to have a private party from 11pm to 12:30am. As we had left UK at 4 am we did not appreciate the loud booming music under our rooms. We stayed here before covid and it was excellent, we will not be returning.

I arrived at the property and they didnt have a record of my reservation, which I had made last minute that afternoon, and they were fully booked. I can only assume this was an error on the booking.com system. But the staff really went above and beyond for me and I cannot stress enough the professionalism, helpfulness and politeness of the staff here. They arranged an apartment for me on the site, I presume this is for staff or the owners as it was impeccable, and provided me with refreshments while I waited for this to be arranged. Taking into account that I arrived at the property at around 10pm I cannot believe the lengths they went to for me. The restaurant, which looked and smelled fantastic, was starting to thin out after what had obviously been a busy night (Saturday) and the staff were still all smiles and nice and chatty. I will definitely be staying here again and will definitely be trying the restaurant too. The setting and grounds are fantastic and perfect for a summers evening sitting outside, or a chilly night in the warm and comfortable atmosphere indoors. You can tell this is a massively popular place, and I can certainly see why.
Thank you to everyone that really helped me out. I cannot recommend this property enough.

The breakfast was very good and we got everything we needed . Finally it is more pleasant to sit down at the beakfast table and be served than to run to big buffets and to line on for the food! Thanks Everything was perfect for us and we will come back soon

Beautiful setting with a great terrace next to a small lake. Nice interior as well. The staff was great.
The wifi did not reach my room. I could only connect in the public areas. One window had no curtain to block the morning light. It was not needed for privacy but just the light.
They had essentially nothing to eat for breakfast for a vegetarian except bread and cornflakes.

View at the small pond was great, the hosts were also courteous and polite.
Big room with way too many stairs to get on top. Dangerous and narrow staircase connecting the lower room with the upper room. It really needs a renovation.
