The hotel is located in a more quiet part of Bayreuth with a nice scenery, the room was spacious and comfortable for two people, a good breakfast was provided, and the staff was courteous and helpful.
The internet connection was not the best at times, especially at night.

I got lucky as my room did not smell like smoke, like the rest of the property, and had A/C that blew ice cold, which was the only thing I cared about.
This hotel is a dump in the middle of nowhere with the smell of smoke everywhere. I don't think it has been renovated since it opened its doors in 1980.

Breakfast was good, the room was well appointed. The provision of a garage was welcome since I was coming by motorbike. The provision of a bar that sold beer was welcome
There was a 5cm step between the room and the corridor. I hurt my toe on this so it bled. The hotel should put a ramp in this place to prevent accidents of this kind. There is only one restaurant in the area and it was closed on Monday evening. To get food I had to go to the store across the road and buy bread, meat and cheese in order to have anything to eat. Not what I imagined after a 9 hour drive

Large room with all you need, good breakfast and staff great. A little out of the way but great for a stop over. Chinese restaurant downstairs was fabulous with other shops around for convenience. Shower on timer so had to keep hitting the button, but otherwise very happy with room.

It had everything we needed for a 1 night step over during our trip. Good spacious rooms with comfy beds. Parking garage and a very nice Chinese restaurant on the ground floor.
The property could use a freshening up. The filthy carpet on the floor is not acceptable anymore in 2024. The staff is nice and friendly but you have to go around to look the one employee (at the time) that does everything, from breakfast to check in/out.
