Poor
Hotel was big and nice. Breakfast was alright. Very spacious rooms.
Appalling customer service and complete lack of professionalism
We had booked a total of 8 rooms split into two separate bookings (one for 7 rooms and one for 1 room), all pre-paid under my name. After checking in the first 7 rooms, the front desk incorrectly claimed we were done. They could not find the final booking for the 8th room and claimed it was canceled, despite me showing that it was active and paid for on my phone.
Instead of resolving the issue, the staff became highly hostile. The receptionist started swearing, slamming drawers, and sighing loudly—to the point where her own colleague had to tell her to breathe and count to ten. When they finally located the room, the poor behavior continued. They openly mocked our name and acted extremely condescending and rude when we tried to spell it out. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ruined our whole evening with this bad attitude. Absolutely do not recommend.

The hotel has a lot of character. I loved the ceiling heights. The breakfast buffet had so much to choose from. The room was very spacious and the center of the village was just a short walking distance away.

Lovely hotel. Great breakfast. Underground garage parking (for a fee), easy walk to main part of town, drinking water in lobby
No AC. Portable fan in room would not go to high speed. Was in a room on upper floor that only had one small window and it was very hot!

It is close to the old town. Has a nice setting. Breakfast is decent. Too bad they put bacon even in their scrambled eggs, for those of us who don’t eat pork or our vegetarian we’re out of luck. Most go the staff was nice and went out of their way
This is like a three star hotel that’s masquerading as four star. First of all the bed was very uncomfortable. I had one of those double bands with two single mattresses both of them were uncomfortable, they offered me another room. The mattresses in those rooms were just as bad. There is no air-conditioning. There is no fridge in the room. The fitness room is just three aerobic machines and about four dumbbells in a few ways. Why even bother?

The Residenzschloss provided our family of four with a very comfortable 1-night stay. The hotel is perfectly located to allow for easy walks to the old city with many restaurants and attractions. The suite was very spacious and during a period of rain, our family was fine hanging out in the room.
The breakfast, while tasty, was a bit crowded, but we visited on a holiday, so we had expected more guests. Not a major issue.

location was perfect- we walked from train station to hotel. And the walk into the old town, was lovely. The Regnitz is right next to the hotel
lovely property - we were upgraded (I suspect because I was booking 3 total rooms each night for family members) to a very spacious and elegant room.
breakfast - coffee from a machine is not up to the standards expected of this hotel. Should be served fresh
hotel bar - consistently served watered down cocktails. Recommend ordering only the beer
