For starters, we were upgraded to a suite which was unexpected and delightful! The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was central to town, and the room was very clean.
The only negative is there was no refrigerator in our room nor was there access to ice (our stay was during the intense heatwave). We had to ask staff for ice which we disliked doing because it wasn’t convenient or easy for them to access either. Although they always did so willingly and cheerfully

Comfortable room. Desk chair and small armchair. Space for two suitcases. Closet with several hangers. I liked having the toilet separate from the bathing area.Loved having a small refrigerator. Location about a 15 minute walk from the train station and 12 minutes to the self operated laundromat. Staff was excellent. Friendly and efficient and good to excellent English. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. good elevator after only three steps. Not far from Old Town, but not the hordes of tourists about.
no light over the desk. We didn't opt for the breakfast at almost 15 euro a person as we don't eat enough at breakfast to make it worth it, and there is a bakery almost next door for a light snack (or sandwiches).

Superlative reception by staff. Very comfortable room.I had booked this night in addition to five other nights previously booked, and the hotel had already seamlessly blended them.

Good location, very friendly staff, big suite room and bathroom. Wonderful view from rooftop windows.
The breakfast was ok, but little of vegetables and warm food.
The parking was quite far away from hotel.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable . The staff was exceptional . The breakfast was displayed beautifully .
The bathroom was difficult to operate . There was a huge tub to climb over.

This hotel is in a good location for exploring Bamberg. The breakfast was reasonably priced and had lots of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is an older building with very interesting history, photographs etc. The room was spacious and very comfortable and had the toilet in a separate room which was very convenient. We really enjoyed our time there.
Soft pillows seem to be common in Germany, we prefer something firmer. We had a hot spell while we were there and the air conditioning was not working in our room. They brought a good fan in which helped and tried to fix it but couldn’t and we had a couple of very hot nights. If it wasn’t for that I would have rated them even higher.

Germans don’t turn on their air conditioning power in May and there was a heat wave, mid 80’s. So, we opened the big windows which allowed a lot of street noise. We ditched their heavy comforters and bought some summer comforters at a nearby bedding store. That was the only discomfort we experienced.

The facility and room is charming! The location is close to the Altstadt. The room came with bottles of water that they replaced daily along with a turndown service. The bathtub in the room is long and deep! They have the most comfy beds of any hotel!!! Staff is superb! They worked with our late arrival (thank you German trains), and promptly provided extra pillows when asked. Breakfast has a great spread of food for everyone! Food was all fresh and delicious. Definitely would stay here again!
Hard to say, we loved every bit of our stay here. Our only critique is that the pillows were too flat for our preference, but they provided extras when asked.

This is a very nice hotel especially for the price. Right in central Bamberg so easy to walk around. helpful staff and good breakfast. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to Bamberg.
