Big family room. Clean.
Host not happy to accomodate arrival after 6pm, which is a significant limit when traveling. Room with 3 beds offered for 4 member family but no cot or foldable bed offered for 4th member.

It was pretty good, clean, soft bed. But there weren't enough vegetables and fruits for breakfast. Just boiled eggs... But I wanted some kind of omelet or scrambled eggs....

The location is nice and quiet, while the city center of Bamberg is nearby. It is a nice hike through a nice green environment..you can nicely bicycle too. The staff is nice and the rooms are spacious. The child liked the big garden with playyard very much. I am sure the beer garden and restaurant is good too, but I had not the oppertunitity to go there.
The breakfast was fine as well.
The rooms could be cleaner and it was a pity there was no ventilator while it was an extremely warm day.

Our room was in modern accommodation outside the main building but that was fine for us. The room had a table and seating area inside and outside on our own patio, which was secluded from those on either side. Breakfast was inside the inn. There was plenty available and the owner ensured that we never ran out of anything. The area where the hotel was, was quiet at night.
The hotel is situated outside Bamberg and you need to use your own transport if you want to visit this beautiful City. There is a shuttle bus but not frequent. A personal dislike for fish tanks (especially when one looked dead!) when I'm eating and I suppose I could have asked to move tables but it was all set out.

Free parking on site. Pleasant location outside the city centre.
Buses to the City centre only run every hour and stop running at 6 pm. You then have to book a taxi which takes at least 1/2 hour to come.
