It was a very nice hotel with a nice, courteous staff. The room was clean and quiet but very small. I would upgrade to a larger room next time.
Only my choice of room was too small. My fault.

Beautiful place. Classy. Old style. Nice reception staff who switched us to a room with a shower on the first floor for accessibility reasons. Very nice gesture. The food at the restaurant was marvellous.
Everything was great except that the room was quite stuffy. It had AC, but you couldn’t really tell. Opening the windows did not help, but the fan in the room did. If it had not been stuffy I would have rated it a 10.

Beautiful property perched on the edge of old town and flanked by a gorgeous walking path/ greenbelt along the river for sightseeing and “tree bathing.” The staff couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. Our room was spotless and spacious, beds/linens/pillows were VERY comfy. The room was laid out very well and extremely functional. The AC was appreciated because it got warm during our visit. Our room looked into the garden area and was so peaceful and serene and quiet (except for the song birds!). The breakfast was wonderful! We could not ask for more. We’ve stayed in many 5-star properties not as nice as this. The underground parking was also very appreciated. This was our favorite hotel in our three week tour of CR, Germany and Poland. Bamberg is WONDERFUL!!!

We loved everything about this property. The location was perfect for visiting all the major sites, and the tourist office was just one block away. We took a boat tour — even though English wasn’t offered, we used our translation app and still had a great time.
The hotel breakfast was delicious, and having on‑site parking for our rental car was a huge bonus. Our room overlooked the walking trail that runs parallel to the river, which made the view even more enjoyable.
This was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our vacation in Germany.

Very pretty hotel! I’m glad I chose this hotel though it was only for 1 night. I will definitely come back and stay for few nights. Bamberg is beautiful and overnight stay was not enough.

Very lovely and quiet hotel in Bamberg. Room was very comfortable, and most above all it was really quiet. No street noises, no inside house noises. Breakfast was really good and lot of variety. I recommend this place and would return.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, as was the staff at breakfast. The rooms were great. The hotel location could not have been better. Our overall experience could not have been better.

Location in the old town was wonderful. Very easy to walk to all major sightseeing attractions. Good view from our room overlooking the river. Breakfast was very nice and we were seated in a lovely breakfast room. All staff, including reception, waitresses and housekeepers were very helpful and pleasant.

The hotel was clean, roomy, and convenient to sights and restaurants.
It was a very nice hotel, and it did have an underground parking garage.
Although the breakfast was ok, the breakfast room was very stark and boring. There were no decorations or details at all. We have stayed in many German hotels, and most of them make an effort to create cozy, homey breakfast rooms especially for Christmas. I would have preferred a small pot of our own coffee on our table rather than having to get up and down to make each cup. I also would have preferred a small glass or metal receptacle placed on each table for bits of trash-we have always had these at other hotels.

The underground and very secure parking was an amazing asset. The staff was phenomenal and consistently went out of their way to be accommodating. Very good breakfast and excellent on-site restaurant.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location—most everything was within walking distance. Helpful and courteous staff. Beautiful rooms. Best and most complete breakfast included with room that we encountered in many years of traveling in Germany
Water temperature in shower became scalding hot when toilet in room 12 was flushed. We reported it so should be fixed by now.

The accommodation was glisteningly clean and nicely appointed. The location is very central and next to a park and underground parking. Breakfast and sauna are both good.
The 'fitness' area is the size of a large closet and only offers 3 cardio machines. For a hotel of this level, more options are expected.
