It was very hot. The AC is basically not functioning in both rooms even after the staff try.

Decent size room, good breakfast, there is a guest kitchen with fridge, jug, microwave on 1st floor. We found this by chance. Bus outside door or short walk. Swimming pool about 5 mins walk at Bambados
A bit out of town so you have to bus in for restaurant choice. WiFi was average

The room was clean and reasonably well equipped. I was pleased with the air conditioning since the weather was so hot! The shower was good and the bed reasonably comfortable.
The parking (underground garage) was good - with a lift direct to the bedrooms floor.
Both I and another two guests had difficulties with the electronic card admission to the hotel after 20.00.
The system insisted it needed a code number, which none of us had been given (or told was needed). It must have taken 15 minutes to get in! However the system worked well for entry to the room.
The breakfast was satisfactory, not as good as some in Germany. I do not like semi-frozen butter!

Clean, parking at the front of the property, a very tidy continental breakfast buffet with good quality (loved the avocadoes!). Spacious room, comfortable bed. Good communication with the hotel as we were arriving after the reception was closing.
It is indeed a bit far from the centre, but we took the car to the city as we were there a few hours only and parked in a garage for 3 euros per started hour. You can take a buss that stops right outside, which is cheeper.

The place was really clean and the staff were very friendly. Bus stations are really near and make the travel easy.
The price is not on the cheap side.

Great parking, great breakfast. Super nice and helpful staff.
The walk to old Bamberg is too far, you have to drive or take public transportation, parking in town is nonexistent
