Super hotel and place to stay. With it being the end of the season only 1 other guest staying. We were treated like royalty and really looked after.

A beautiful place in the middle of a forest. It's extremely close to many great hiking trails. It is a very quiet place. Good connection to the town. Simple but good food in the restaurant and for breakfast. There is always Schwarzwlder Kirschtorte at the restaurant, which is made there and tastes delicious. The bedroom was extremely clean and comfortable.

Very professionally run establishment. Situated out of town on a hill, giving it a lovely serene feel. Breakfast was good and the room and bathroom were very spacious.

Location is lovely and quite with good parking and away from the town. The rooms are beautiful and the bed is so comfortable. Restaurant on site so no need to drive/taxi into town.
Everything was lovely in this hotel when we stopped last year which was the reason we booked again but it looks like its changed management and not for the better. Staff were not as friendly, food not as nice and the place was dead and it was a Friday night in August. We were told to pay our bill at 7:45 as it was closing and could no longer get any drinks.

Good outdoor parking (with no height restriction). Friendly staff (especially the restaurant team) and the food and service in the restaurant is very good. They also have a fabulous selection of cake in the afternoon. It's near the funicular railway and there are some spectacular views locally - we didn't get a chance to go to the top for the main viewpoint but the walk towards town was lovely - it's all quite steep and hilly but very pleasant.

The room was immaculately clean, large, with a comfortable bed, big bathroom and a balcony area with seating. Staff were lovely and breakfast was good. Free parking on site. Hotel restaurant was popular with locals and the food was good.
There was no fan in the room but Im sure they would have provided one had we asked (I had a couple of travel fans in the car anyhow).

The hotel is up a hill from the town in the middle of a wooded area, so very quiet and peaceful. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, and the room was very large and comfortable.

Hotel was very nice to look at. Staff were welcoming, good parking available for motorbike. Restaurant onsite, serves nice authentic German food (no pizza/burgers etc). Room was spacious and balcony gave a pretty aspect to the stay.
The bathroom window must have been left open before our arrival as there were a lot of moths and beetles in the room. Not that it bothered us but if you wanted to travel to town centre, you would need a taxi as the hotel is located at the top of quite a steep and lengthy hill.

Wonderful
The location was quiet and peaceful and close to Merkurbahn. The bus stop was just across the road. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, fresh fruit etc. The place was impeccably clean.
Ideally, the room could have a fan and electric kettle in the room.

Location Is great. outside in nature. Great for taking relaxing walks. 10 minute drive to Baden Baden center. Nice if you rather not have the hectic of the city.
