Location was practical. Parking was good
Overpriced. Very dated and everything very shabby. Not very clean. Needs a complete upgrade if the owners charge these prices. Owners said there was all day beverages available, but did not keep cups, water in urn or basic facilities stocked up.

Good, central location. Spacious.
I booked at quite short notice with an uncancellable deal. I was content with that as it was not expensive. I subsequently got a message saying the property wanted to give me the opportunity to cancel as they wanted to cancel the arrangement. This annoyed me. I ignored the opportunity and turned up and the owner said he thought I had cancelled. Anyway I stayed without any ill-feeling. I liked the owner Mevan. But this was unsettling. The facilities were fine for the price, a little tired and old-fashioned perhaps.
I was booked for three nights. On the second day Mevan told me that the heating boiler was kaputt and couldn’t be fixed over the weekend. The water was cold. He offered to pay for showers at the spa/Therme down the road. I actually felt sorry for the guy, so managed with Spartan cold water washing. I survived.
I think I was just unfortunate here so I don’t really want to give a trash review. Please edit or not publish at all.
Basically the place would have been quite acceptable but for the cold water and the confusion over my booking Neither of these is systemic I think.

Villa Feise is (for me at least) a typical german Hostel/Hotel. Not a supermodern butique-Hotel, but everything was whole and very clean! The room was very comfy and quiet, we could here the neighbors when we were in the hallway but not in our room. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. Sadly they didn’t have breakfast when we stayed there (I think because it was off season) but it wasn’t a problem to find somewhere in the city center which was right outside the door. The location is great and also super quiet.

No breakfast because of carona. The location was amazing, everything was in walking distance from the Hotel. In the middle of town there is a fountain where you can have an amazing breakfast. We did a 23 km hike around the town of Bad Hartzburg, really beautiful. The hiking trails in and around Bad Harzburg is really something you can consider.
The beds were not so comfortable.
