The location was ideal — within walking distance of a laundromat, restaurants, a grocery store, the train station, and the historic old town of Augsburg. The apartment itself was very clean, and the host communicated clearly and provided excellent resources in both English and German. The overall impression from the team was that they are family-oriented, conscientious, thoughtful, and accommodating. Augsburg itself is a beautiful city and a wonderful alternative to staying in Munich, with quick and easy train access. I would highly recommend both the apartment and the city.
There were no real downsides to our stay. Everything met or exceeded our expectations, and we would 100% return to a Steinhauser apartment in the future.

Owner, Holger, is amazing and incredibly accommodating as were the on-site staff. The location is phenomenal. The washer and dryer a game changer. Parking convenient. Kitchen, essential.
Shower is tight. Difficult for elderly parents or large person. But manageable. Smoking for other guests in the building is right outside entrance door, so you walk through it. But better than allowing smoking in the units. Needs an actual exhaust fan in bathroom or on roof.

Easy access with door codes and hosts sent instructions (and link to video) in advance. Wonderful location along one of Augsburg’s canals, walking distance to all of the Altstadt and Weihnachtsmarkt. Easy access to public transport just two blocks away, groceries convenient too. And common area decorated for Weihnachten — a nice added touch. We would recommend Steinhauser’s Ferienwohnungen for family stays in Augsburg.

The apartment was really nice, sparkling clean and comfortable. A lot of space! Few minutes’ walk from the center and super markets round the corner. Parking available on the property which is definitely a plus in a city like Augsburg.... and amazing detailed information from the owners on how to get there, check-in, etc... Nothing can go wrong :-) We'll definitely come back, thank you!!!

The Nils was perfect for two adults. Just two blocks to the Fuggerei tram/bus stop but also walking distance to center of old town. Bed and sofa were comfortable. Shower was powerful and hot. Kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee! Food mart is also just two blocks. Neighborhood felt safe and was quiet at night. The building is well maintained and managed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Apartment clean and well equipped with plenty of kitchen items, a decent sized refrigerator, just enough furniture for the two of us and guests for dinner, etc.
Location was perfect for us - within easy walking distance of our son's apartment, grocery stores, tram stop.

There was free parking on site and it was easy to park. The location was very good - very close to the Fuggerei and within easy walking distance of the other main sights. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a comfortable seating area. A supermarket is just down the road and we recommend "Die Tafeldecker" at the entrance to the Fuggerei for its German Tapas among other reasonably priced dishes.
We had some trouble to make the key pad entry at the front work - though that to the apartments was OK. Ours was on the third floor so we didn't like walking up all those stairs - but there are other apartments on the lower floors. The bed was very comfortable but took up most of the bedroom. We didn't find many places to eat in the immediate area - apart from "Die Tafeldecker" already mentioned.
