Staff was excellent. They let us store our bags before checkin, which was crucial. Great steak restaurant nearby.
Rooms have minimal insulation, so there was much noise from other rooms, especially from above. Location is somewhat close to center, but not quite close enough. Breakfast was minimalistic.

the place is the bottom tier of ibis ranking, of the 3. people who worked at hotel did not look professional or act that way. they looked like those who needed a job. they would sit at the tables reserved for guests outside, smoking their cigarettes along with the guests. and was that ever a dumpy area. it could have been nice if kept clean and made a no smoking zone. one felt that they were amongst the itinerant class of people with no real future in sight. just a dump. to make matters worse there was no real security against a class of rabble, of drunks who hung out there, perhaps homeless or borderline. One morning going out to my car was a guy sitting with beer bottles by his feet obviously drunk and on closer examination could not have been a guest, just a drunken bum. i went inside and reported this and the first reply was, "Is he bothering you?," as if there were some limited allowance mandated for bums on the property. My reply was, "He needs to go, is he a guest?" One look and they knew he wasn't. About 2 days prior upon arriving early there was the 'screamer'. Myself and another were a bit concerned that maybe someone was being attacked in the green area of trees off of the hotel parking lot to the west. We told the manager. He came out and walked over there and after seeing the woman in the foliage told us she had been going on like this drunkenly for 2 days. Ostensibly, he called the police which just turned out to be a 'welfare check'. That property was not part of the hotel. Then, the ubiquitous smokers. The manager would take his smoking breaks outside of the hotel. This just did not look good. Upon checking in I had read some reviews as to how the electronic keys were faulty. They must be used in a certain way. I did, and it didn't function. It was another annoyance, going to the check in and returning once again. Elevator rides totally unnecessary.

1. Regarding cleaning: as stated the room must be cleaned every 4th day, but our room was cleaned only on 6th day (after notifying the reception previous two days). And even after cleaning on 6th day (which was our last day in reception), they haven't replaced empty shower gell in bathroom.
2. On checkout day, they have started to cleaning room few hours before checkout time after we left room to visit some shops, though we wanted to shortly come back to rooms (to use bath) before leaving the hotel. Their explanation was that we haven't left our luggage in room (we left luggage to rental car to quickly leave after coming back), so they thought we already leave.

It was in an amazing location, just 15 minutes of walking from the Hauptbahnhof (even less if you take the bus). In a quiet part of town with amazing views as you walk along the park/river or the neighborhood roads.
Only issue was how creaky the floors were, you were able to hear people walking right above, I assume they heard us from below as well. Also, the trash can and sink being outside of the bathroom was a little weird, but nothing too crazy. At least the water was drinkable.

The room is very dirty, and the bathroom is not clean. There is visible waste(shit) in the toilet, and a lot of hair left in the bathroom. Please assign a different cleaner/cleaning staff.

There is free parking available on site. The staff speak English, and check-in was very quick. The receptionist explained everything we needed to know. There is no physical key—doors are unlocked using a PIN code, which I found much more convenient.
The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. It also had air conditioning, which was extremely helpful in the hot weather. The bathroom was very practical: water did not spill onto the floor while showering, and it did not collect in the shower tray afterward. Many hotels have one of these issues, but this one had neither.
The price was also very reasonable, making it excellent value for money.
The pillows were very soft and not comfortable to sleep on. The location was also not ideal. On one occasion, when we wanted to go somewhere, the route suggested walking about 15 minutes to the nearest tram stop for Tram 4.

Location was convenient for the event we attended next day. Check-in was quick and efficient with lovely and very friendly staff. Room and facilities were basic but clean, just as expected for this type of hotel. Windows equipped with mosquito nets, so you can leave the window open if needed. We left early and therefore didn't book breakfast - can't comment on that.
Nothing really, it was fine. We moved the beds apart and found that it hasn't been cleaned properly underneath. Nothing major, but annoying nonetheless.

The rooms were dirty and one is overwhelmed by smokers right at the entry doors to the building. We complained on arrival about the dirt and spider webs in the room and after 24 hrs still nothing was done

Good location, close to the train station. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, it's quiet, and check-in and check-out are easy.
The room needs a mosquito net on the window - a lot of insects fly into the room. It would also be nice if there was ventilation in the bathroom.

Even though the hotel calls itself 100% smoking-free, the smell in our apartment was unbearable. It smelled like there have been heavy smokers for years - it was really hard to breathe. Without an open window it stank like crazy. You could also already smell a strong perfume of weed once you entered the elevators.
Also we got a small "visit" from a cleaning lady at 8:30. She knocked at our door and immediately went in - even though check-out was at 11:30. This was really disturbing.
